Summary: The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! And the view of Stuart Lake was fantastic! The internet was very slow, I ended up hot spotting off my phone most of my stay. And there are very limited dining options, and the ones that are there close early in the evening. But overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it!

Summary: I had a nice experience here. Third floor has wonderful views of Stuart Lake. Staff are outstanding and so helpful. King's cafe next to the hotel has a nice breakfast menu, and St. James Restaurant has decent but expensive Chinese cuisine; it closes earlier than you might think. There is a Subway Cafe a few minutes walk from the hotel, and there is a Save On grocery store a little past the Subway. I grew up in Fort St. James; The View is definitely not the old Fort St. James Hotel.
