Summary: We were looking for a relaxing getaway but couldn't go far from Prince George due to work obligations. As soon as you enter the ranch it feels like the outside world is paused and you enter a peaceful little oasis. The kindness, hospitality and thoughtfulness by Maureen and Kevin superseded our expectations in tenfold. The cottage was very clean, cozy and private. We loved taking walks with our dog on the properties paths, and visiting the friendly horses right outside our door!

Summary: Mareen and Kevin have developed a beautiful piece of open land into a true ranch experience for travelers. Their property is located on a well maintained gravel road a few miles north of Highway 16 and is isolated from any visible sights and sounds of urban hurley burley. The small cottage I stayed in was surrounded by fenced areas for horses and apples were provided to the traveler to feed them. I have to admit to being many decades past working on a farm with large animals like cows and horses. Therefore, I can't express enough my delight in the morning at having an opportunity to have each of the two horses in the pen a few feet from my cottage eating an apple out of my hand. So many memories... One more thing: Maureen provides a special treat on arrival; a delicious frosted cinnamon bun waits on the kitchen table.

Summary: Highly recommended place to stay and they make it such a warm and welcoming experience. One of our favorite VRBOs. And pups enjoyed the ranch and cookies left for them.

Summary: WOW. This place is SO much better than the internet even shows it to be. The owners are so kind, welcoming, professional, and hardworking. The cabins are impeccable, with beautiful decorations and updated modern appliances and furnishings. The atmosphere is friendly and truly relaxing. We felt at home straight away. They're so accommodating that they even had a treat waiting for our dog when we arrived. Horses were outside our window... Christmas lights on cabins in snow, horse-drawn sleigh rides... Homemade cinnamon buns with a heart made of icing upon arrival... Chocolates on the bed... Everything was just way beyond our imagination. We will be coming back for years to come, and bringing relatives!

Summary: Travelling with dogs isn’t always easy, but this place made it wonderful! They definitely mean it when they say they are ‘sincerely pet friendly’. The cottage itself had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend staying there and hope to go back one day!

Summary: It would take me pages but on the road so making this short....EVERYTHINK was perfect and beyond. Perhaps the best rental ever. Maureen and Kevin define "hospitable." Our welcome included gracious welcome for our little dog Tilly. Clean, clean, clean...relaxing as ever could wish. Bed very comfortable. Picked wild blueberries on ranch. Loved the horses and cattle. Thank you for a superb spot. We WILL return!!!

Summary: There are not enough words to share how marvelous our experience was at this incredible spot. First of all, the essentials all there...spotlessly clean, everything provided that we needed, comfy, cozy, very comfortable mattress, and our doggy Tilly was greeted as graciously as my husband and I were. Maureen and Kevin are superior hosts, kind, friendly, caring. We loved the serenity of the ranch, thoroughly enjoying horses Bob and Ike, doggy Nora, and all the cattle. Still missing the back porch for my tea! Location was great as we explored some of back roads, lakes, and yet close enough to Prince George for shopping. As we now head back to the States I am left wishing we could stop in again. P.S. Maureen's cinnamon rolls are to die for...thank you both for being there for weary travelers. We shall return!

Summary: This property should be marked as a “must stay” destination while in Prince George. It’s only a short 20 minute drive to the center of town, but it feels like you’re WAY out in the country. Incredible scenery, relaxing cabins, even a couple of gentle horses to feed carrots to and a lovable St Bernard to help you feel at home. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Looking forward to our next trip there.
