Positive: Marc is an exceptionally warm, friendly, and uncomplicated host. From the very first moment, we felt welcome and well taken care of. His tips (where to go, where to ride our MTB) were fantastic, and his incredible eye for design and detail is reflected in every corner of The Vishuis — beautifully styled, lovingly maintained, and full of character. The charming little house is tastefully and artistically decorated and located in a wonderfully quiet and safe area, within easy walking distance to the ocean. Waking up there feels peaceful and inspiring. A Nespresso machine is provided, and there are plenty of lovely cafés nearby for a relaxed breakfast. This is a truly special place with a creative soul — we can wholeheartedly recommend this unique accommodation and would return in a heartbeat.

Positive: Marc met us and showed us around the apartment which was gorgeous - huge living dining area and comfy sofas - very stylish - contemporary but comfy. Short safe walk to the cliff path and into Hermanus to eat. Book if you want to eat out in Hermanus - the kitchen facilities are excellent but we wanted to eat out and our preferred places were fully booked on a Tuesday night
Negative: There is just a plunge pool - if you want to swim then a 5 minute walk gets you to the marine pool which is a tidal pool on the sea front.
Summary: Comfortable stay in a stylish cottage in central Hermanus.

Positive: Delightful cottage, freshly and tastefully decorated, wonderfully equipped with everything we needed, a few steps from Hermanus waterfront. We ran into some friends and had an impromptu braai - all equipment was to hand, and the Cottage kitchen/dining area/lounge comfortably accommodated 8 of us. It was winter, but the wood-burner kept us cosy. Mark was a kind host and gave great recommendations on where to go. Honestly it was above expectations and we would love to return.
Negative: Nothing - it was perfect.

Positive: I loved the homely atmosphere and the location. The owner was very informative and welcoming. The unit is also spacious and nicely decorated.
Negative: I think that a small microwave oven is needed to warm up some food. Other than that, it was perfect
