Summary: Lovely, cosy house on the outskirts of Walhalla. The house is old but full of charm. Kitchen cutlery / glassware etc is a bit ramshackle with odds and sods, but essentially everything you need. Lovely wood heater but I’d imagine the house could be cold in the dead of winter. 2 bathrooms with showers in the house but hot water service could really only cope with one shower at a time - but to be expected for an old house. Overall a very pleasant stay and a great choice for a medium-sized group who all want to stay under the one roof in Walhalla, as not a lot of other options in this small but gorgeous town.

Summary: House needed a sign with house name or number. Everyone drove past it and difficult to do a u turn up further. Steep driveway should have been advised as well as the very steep stairs from the roadway. Power blew but host was great at communicating with us

Summary: This property suited our two families with young kids really well. There’s a bunch of toys and board games for the kids to play with and they loved having the old train go by below the window (it only runs a couple of times a day so it was a novelty). Walhalla is very small and quiet, we had good meals at the local Witchery cafe (sandwiches) and Wally Pub (classic pub food).

Summary: The coach house was in a beautiful location and suited our family perfectly. There was plenty of room for the kids to play freely and was only a short walk to a great pub and a short drive to some snow!! Communication and response from host was always prompt and check in was easy.
