Positive: We spent a night only. Good location, close to JFK. Bedroom was very clean. Bathroom as well. Very quiet place. Good communication with the host. The bonus was the lovely kitty. She was adorable.

Positive: Clean and comfortable-the host was very accommodating of my schedule and needs. The host gave me excellent suggestions and advice to get there safely (I am a solo female traveler) and I appreciated the extra touches (bottles of cold water, AC, snacks and even some soda chilling in the fridge. I especially enjoyed the cat (it let me pet it) . Huge thanks to the hosts for everything!

Positive: This is a beautifully remodeled second-floor unit, with wooden flooring, modern appliances and a kitchen/dining area that you share with an adorable cat. The host generously provides coffee pods, snacks, fruit and even some alcoholic drinks. The immediate neighborhood is pleasant, mostly quiet (no traffic noise, but some human noises) and appears safe. It was perfectly suited for our need, which was for an overnight stay near JFK airport, to rest between the domestic and international legs of our trip.
Negative: It did not bother us, but travelers should be aware that access to this second-floor unit is through a rather narrow staircase, not suitable for carrying heavy luggage. We just left our heavy suitcases in the entry hallway downstairs. Another issue that guests should be aware of is that there are almost no eating options within easy walking distance.

Positive: The room is very comfortable - we slept very well. The bathroom is great, very clean. Neighbourhood is quiet. Self-check in was easy. The home is cozy and welcoming. The location is great - its just a 15 minute walk to Jamaica train station, connecting you to the subway, the Long Island Rail Road, and the AirTran to JFK. We would come back here again!
