Negative: We would of liked more options for eating out as pub around the corner had very poor service and overpriced food of average quality, this meant one of us had to drive most evenings which we prefer not to do.

Positive: This cottage is a tardis!! Three full size double bedrooms. The one upstairs is almost the full width of the house, with only the bathroom also up there, it felt like a separate suite. It's a 2 min walk to the Crab & Lobster pub (with fab sea views), but book a week ahead for dinner as it is very popular. 20 min walk into other restaurants in the village, or a 5 min drive. Again book ahead, but it may be due to Covid everything was super busy when we were visiting (Jun 2021). The cottage is tucked away behind a row of houses as you turn left at the end of the road: the narrow gravel drive on the far left is the one to you need! There is good parking for 3 cars. The cottage is also 2 mins from sea views around near the pub, but it's a climb down to the beach. Well stocked with kitchen equipment, books & DVDs. Spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated.

Negative: The curtains didn't meet in the middle for one of the downstairs bedrooms, & as it as ground floor, that could pose an issue with privacy. The cottage is quite overlooked, but there are shutters at the front that we closed. There are also curtains in the main living room at the back if you wanted to block out the neighbours whilst you are sitting on the sofas.
