The Wee Nook is a cottage tucked away in a peaceful, lovely location near the national park. Use it as a base for hiking nearby trails, or floating the Buffalo River (just 3 miles from Carver Landing). There are six Highland cows that roam the pastures surrounding the home, along with plenty of wildlife on the property. There's a wet-weather creek that flows from approximately December to April (depending on rain fall). Come relax in the gorgeous Ozarks!

Summary: This was a nice place to stay as we spent a couple of days on the Buffalo River. Very clean, quiet and well stocked. The snacks were also a plus!!

Summary: Loved this spot and the space! The views, cows and horses were such a wonderful addition. We made a great fire and looked at the stars, used the Trager and had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

Summary: I booked this cabin for a romantic Valentines weekend getaway and was not disappointed! The host was very responsive and even helped me out by putting a dozen roses on the table for my partner. The place was clean and we had no issues finding it. Fair warning, the steps going upstairs are a little steep and the bathroom is located downstairs, but overall the cabin is cute and cozy. The Highland cows were a great added bonus!

Summary: Wife and I made an overnight trip out to The Wee Nook. The place is on the back corner of the property and is very quiet. The property is really nice and has two levels. The kitchen, den and bath / laundry room is on the 1st floor with the bedroom on the 2nd. This is a terrific weekend getaway location.

Summary: We had a wonderful few days away, and it was perfect. The cows were friendly and came up for some ear scratches. The Wee Nook was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The whole valley was quiet and relaxing. This was our second visit and I'm sure we'll be back again. I even messaged ahead of time to see if there was a French press coffee maker (so I could pack mine if needed), but Ashley went and put a brand new one in the cabin for us. It was perfection!
