Summary: This was a beautiful and reliable choice for our stay in Rome over the holidays. It felt very luxe and satisfied what we needed. There were some elements that felt dated... carpet was a bit weird, the walls were fabric so be mindful if you have allergies. "King bed" was two very well used twins pushed together on wheels. The bathroom was clean and nice, good shower. The housekeeping service was delightful and once we settled in this was an awesome central base to explore the sites around the city. We really liked being able to retreat from the hectic tourism but close to whatever we needed. While dated... the aesthetic is also why we chose it... it feels like history because it is :) Enjoy!!!!

Summary: The hotel front desk people were very friendly. But there were not a lot of people staying at the hotel. So it feels a little bit spooky. But the room was quite large for a hotel in Rome.

Summary: This is an old property with a lot of character. Although, unfortunately, the fittings etc also seem to be very old. We often stay in heritage properties although expect the light switches, plumbing etc to be modern. But not in this hotel. The rooms are massive and we had a balcony although one couldn’t step out. Very quiet hotel. Nice cafes nearby and Spanish steps too are nearby. Overall would highly recommend this property although you need to be comfortable with fittings being from the 20th century. Not a problem for most I guess.
