4 Bedroom House in Melville, Edithburgh

THE WHITE HOUSE is a modern 2 storey 4 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 10 guests with great sea views from the balcony.
Upstairs - Open plan kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, lounge area with TV, DVD, CD, double doors open on to balcony, outdoor setting. Please note - large coffee machine shown in pictures is no longer available.
Main bedroom has an ensuite with vanity, walk in shower and w/c.
Ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning. Child safety gate for stairs.
Downstairs - Living area with TV, DVD, arcade game machine, 3 bedrooms.
Main bathroom with vanity, walk in shower and full size bath, separate w/c.
Laundry with front loading washing machine, dryer.
Ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning. Child safety gate for stairs.
Gas BBQ, above ground swimming pool (only available between October and end of February) fish cleaning facility, plenty of room for boat and parking.
Bed configuration - main bedroom - king, bed 2 - king, bed 3 - queen, bed 4 - 2 x bunks.
Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to take your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.
** If you have no king bed sheets (top/bottom) they can be hired for $35 per bed - you will still need to take your pillow cases and towels- please advise office staff if you would like to hire them **

Edithburgh has an excellent boat ramp, jetty, tidal swimming pool, playground, golf course, deli, fuel, cafe, take away, 2 hotels. Only a minute short drive to the beautiful Sultana Point Beach.

Dog friendly - if you would like to bring your dog please put a note in the booking or contact office staff, a $100 refundable pet bond will be required and will be added on to the existing refundable bond manually.

Reviewer Comments: Great location with lovely views from the upstairs deck - close to the boat ramp. Very impressed with the service from the property managers when we called regarding an issue with the electric kettle - they delivered a new kettle that afternoon and were happy to receive feedback on the cleanliness of the oven which was not good in our opinion. The remainder of the house was clean and in good order. We visited the local hotels, cafe, museum, craft shop, surf shop, well stocked IGA and made sure we supported the local economy. Our dog loved the beach walks and having a sniffari in the local native park. A very enjoyable stay and would stay at the White House again.

The ladies delivered a new kettle very quickly when the old one broke.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to relax and enjoy the view. Our stay could have been a memorable experience with a few easy fixes. When we arrived the pool needed attention and wasn't suitable to swim in for 3 days due to green algae. The hosts were quick to react, however it took time for the pool to recover. We also ran out of gas during our stay which meant cold showers, but once again hosts reacted quickly the next morning and gas was delivered in under an hour. This place could be really nice with new curtains, carpet and a coat of paint to the stairwell. A guest information/welcome folder would have been very handy also.Simple fixes would have made for a better experience.

Lots of room and close to the ctre and a beautiful walk to sultana point. I would highly recommend. My only complaint is that for the money I would have expected essentials provided such as cooking oil. Salt and pepper. Dishwasher tablets. Bin bags. Toilet roll. These are things you don’t generally travel with and easily forgotten. The carpet is also very badly stained. However it was very comfortable and clean.

But everyone gets their own space at this home. Great location. And most importantly we wouldn't use any property management service other than Accommodation on Yorkes - they are the best!
