Perfect location with updated amenities 2024. This is a perfect spot for a family, or 4 gals going shopping, 4 guys going golfing, or 2 couples sharing a vacation in Door County. Two comfortable bedrooms have attached bathrooms with beautifully tiled showers, accessible from your bedroom or the hallway. Our bedrooms offer updated king beds or can be configured into twins if that better meets your needs. Enjoy cable TV or a movie from your bed. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious so you can cook in - or cook out on the grill. It is well stocked with cookware and appliances so you can enjoy fixing a meal in your home away from home. It's an easy walk to Main St Market, downtown shopping and restaurants. Sharing coffee or an afternoon refreshment on the front porch is about as pleasant as it gets. The living room is light and airy combining with the kitchen to make a spacious great room for your group. Pull up a stool to the counter and plug in your computer - the house is equipped with WIFI. Washer and dryer downstairs are also available for your use. The yard is big and pleasant, adjoining a former cherry orchard. Enjoy an evening around the fire pit! You can walk to the Marina from here, or to the beautiful Egg Harbor beach, and enjoy the free concerts at the park on Sunday afternoon's. No need for a car while in Egg Harbor at the Yellow House. .

Summary: The location of this property is fabulous! Walk to shops and restaurants in lovely Egg Harbor. The two en suite bedrooms is soooo wonderful! Both with televisions and nice lamps for reading in bed.

Summary: We used the house as a landing spot for our adventures. We didn't cook, only made coffee and used the refrigerator. House size was perfect for 2 couples. Loved the porch - a little noisy, but pleasant. We stayed 4 nights, could have used more towels, but overall it was a great place to stay.

Summary: It was perfect. We were meeting a couple of dozen friends at a local campground, and was perfect for us since we don’t camp. Beds were comfortable and we had all the conveniences of home. Plus that we had our bedroom with a king size bed and our own private bathroom and our friends that stayed with us did too

Summary: We stayed at the yellow house for four nights. It's a great location for anything you want to experience in Door county. The beds are comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Some of our favorite stops were Stones Throw and Door Peninsula Winery, Harbor Fish and Grille in Bailey's Harbor for dinner, and The White Gull Inn in Fish Creek for breakfast. We highly recommend the Yellow House in Egg Harbor to anyone who wants to enjoy Door County!

Summary: This little yellow house has everthing you need. It is so nicely decorated with attention to details. We found cute little Door County items throughout. The bedrooms are big enough and the beds were comfortable. Having the connected bathrooms was so nice. We did not cook, but it looked like the kitchen was well equipped. We spent most of our time on the lovely front porch for coffee or cocktails. Sometimes there was traffic noise but who cares. In a previous review someone mentioned the room air conditioners. When we stayed it was very hot outside and we felt by keeping the bedroom doors open when not sleeping the rest of the house was well cooled and the bedrooms were perfect at night. It was actually nice to be able to choose how cool each bedroom would be as one person in our party likes it cold and the other does not. With having the adjoining bathroom, the air could blow directly into it too. It was nice to have the ceiling fans too. Because it was so hot, we actually brought a fan out on the porch so we were able to enjoy it. We just loved this place.

Summary: Overall, we were very happy with this rental. It was wonderful to be in a house with a nice yard and in easy walking distance to the market and eateries and shops of Egg Harbor. We loved the front porch. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean. A few of us were unhappy with the quality of the mattresses. We could not get the TV in one of the bedrooms to function. Also, we discovered that the lack of central A/C in July was a bit of an issue. The bedrooms are easily cooled with window units but the LR and kitchen were uncomfortably warm during our stay in late July.

Summary: The place was a great location and i loved having a full house in door county. The place was exactly as described. The place was not perfect with a todler as there was no deadbolt or was to keep the outside door locked from the inside. Other than that no complaints.

Summary: All was good with the house. A little disappointed with the listing saying ‘aircondtiioning’ when we only had window units in bedrooms. Thankfully we didn’t need anything more.
