Positive: Everything at the Yellow house was exceptional, what a refreshing place to stay when travelling on a road trip wished we could of stayed longer.

Positive: IMMACULATELY CLEAN! Not a spot on the windows, fridge, anything at all, just amazing! Great location and super comfortable, we had to work but it was quite nice being able to keep an eye on our young daughter in bed while sitting at the dinner table working. Easy walk to the beach, piece of cake to find. Lovely to have coffee pods provided, salt and pepper etc handy too. TV and wifi fab. Shower pressure wonderful. Beds comfortable, oh one single bed did have the electric blanket connection smack bang in the middle in front of the pillow but not a biggie.
Negative: Would have been lovely for the heat pump to have been on when we arrived, it took a few hours to heat up so we turned on the electric blankets and spent the first couple of hours there watching a movie in bed before heading out for dinner. Heating in the bathroom would be fab too.
Summary: Would absolutely stay again, perfect spot!

Positive: Very quaint. Our favourite accommodation out of 5 other accommodation places we have stayed over nights 12 days.
Negative: No exhaust fans in laundry and bathroom. Condensation will become issue. No heating those two rooms.

Positive: The location was great, the beds were comfortable and we appreciated having both a washer and dryer. The layout worked for us and the kitchen was well equipped.
Negative: It wasn’t a matter of not liking but the second night,a Wednesday, the house behind ours was partying and singing after midnight, keeping us awake. Also, we had no internet but later learned that the whole area lost their internet due to a construction error.
Summary: The Yellow Cottage was a great base for us to explore the Catlins.
