Upon entering the home using convenient keyless entry, you’ll be welcomed into the cozy sunroom where french doors open to a patio and spacious backyard where you can spend your evening grilling out or sipping a beverage. The well-stocked kitchen offers the amenities and conveniences of home for your gatherings and there are abundant sitting areas around the house to visit with your guests or curl up with a good book. The master bedroom offers a king bed, a newly finished ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet with a washer and dryer. The next bedroom offers a queen bed and ample closet space. The third bedroom which connects to the second full bathroom offers a twin bed and full size futon. Down the hallway, guests will find a charming living room with a queen sleeper sofa, gas logs, TV with a Roku, and a beautiful picture window where you can catch a glimpse of downtown Greer through the trees.

An active track still runs through the heart of the town about ⅓ of a mile from the Palmetto Cottage. Summary: An older ranch house in good condition with recently updated bathrooms and new washer and dryer. Bed linens and bath towels were really nice, with a comfy king bed in master. Enjoyed several meals from grill on patio. Within a short walk to downtown restaurants, bars, & shops. As pointed out in description, the location is on a busy street and near railways, resulting in traffic and train noise levels that we were not accustomed to hearing. Enjoyed the county recreation parks for pickleball, local golf courses and the excellent hiking in the foothills of the Upstate SC area.

Summary: This property felt like home. It was stocked with the necessities, clean, and in a convenient location. Communication with smooth and easy. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Summary: Sadly, we didn’t have good weather for our visit to Greer so no outdoor time, but we did have a couple of very good meals at SELECT and The Great Bay Oyster House; plenty of options in the small downtown area. The house is in a perfect location for walkability and so nicely decorated; it’s very homey. As mentioned in the ad, the train tracks are not far away and they run through the night.

Summary: Upon entering, it gave the feeling of an oasis. From relaxing in the foyer, to cooking as a family in the kitchen, to watching movies as a family. The hosts were very thoughtful and prepared for any occasion! We were not able to fit a playpin or highchair on our travels from Michigan, and they were provided at the cottage!! Highly recommended.

Summary: We loved staying at The Palmetto Cottage! The home is in a great location. We enjoyed walking to restaurants in downtown Greer, but also having the option to drive to Greenville. The home was clean, comfy and well appointed. You can tell Karen cares deeply about her guest’s experience and she was great and easy to communicate with!

Summary: My family loved the place! It was perfectly clean and very nicely decorated. The host/property manager was extremely accommodating and wonderfully kind to us. We would definitely stay here again. It was so close to downtown to Greer which was a plus. The covered car area was great for rain. We would highly recommend this place!
