Summary: We enjoyed our stay, loved being by the water. Plenty of room for everyone (4 adults and 6 children). The grandkids enjoyed the beach and smores around the fire pit. We hope to come again!

Summary: The gorgeous view and privacy made for a lovely stay. The house could have used a once over cleaning wise, but we were very comfortable and really appreciated the water filter. The internet was out the whole stay, but we had good cell service. Definitely would stay again.

Summary: Vacationed and visited on the canal for over 70 years. This is a great place without a highway running right behind it. And not packed in 10 feet from the next house. Quiet and peaceful, just you the water and the wild life.My only suggestion would be a better outside deck surface and wider steps. Very slippery and narrow.

Summary: We love the Thornedyke Lodge and have been coming for years. It is still great, but the kids (who are cousins) usually sleep in the big room with the queen bed and bunk beds. This time they had taken out the bunk beds. The listing still shows 2 bunkbeds. That was a little disappointing.
