3 Bedroom Villa in Caserio Los Tarquinos, Murcia

The accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, the twin beds can be joined to make large doubles. Upstairs there is a toilet and bathroom and downstairs a shower and toilet. All have fitted wardrobes and air-conditioning/heating.. The lounge and dining area has seating for up to 6 people and has a TV with English, French, Spanish channels. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher oven & hob, microwave, kettle & toaster and plenty of crockery and glassware. There is a iron & ironing board. Outside has 6 sunbeds and a 2 large tables & 10 chairs, two umbrellas and a BBQ. Good sized private garden with pool with shallow play area for young children.
It is located near to lots of excellent golf courses and only 20 minutes drive from the lovely beaches of the Mar-Menor which offer very safe beaches and calm seas. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes away with larger one 15 minutes towards Murcia city.
Resort now has a 9 hole golf course with a further nine opening in 2021. Next door there is El Valle 18 hole golf course and 10 min drive La Torre golf course. Many others with 20 to 30 minute drive.
You do need a car here to get around, if you want peace and quiet and a relaxing environment this is the place to stay.

Summary: Just returned from a fantastic two weeks in this villa. The villa is located on the Altaona Golf Country Club, the complex is really clean and felt very safe. When we arrived there was just the bar/restaurant at the Golf Club called the Hub, only had lunch there but the food was lovely and reasonable priced. Whilst away a second bar/restaurant opened in the commercial center, only had a drink but the restaurant looked very nice. I believe there are plans for more development in this building. The villa was really nice, 3 spacious bedrooms with air con and ceiling fans which was much needed in the recent heatwave. Very well equipped and had everything that we needed. Communication throughout our booking with the host Bob was excellent, we had an issue with the water at one point and Bob was extremely quick to resolve. I could go on and on about this villa but then I don’t want too many people to book this little gem of a villa. Will definitely return.

Summary: We had a perfect 2 weeks stay at the villa. All was just as described, spotlessly clean, could not have asked for more. You will definitely need a car to stay here although there is a lovely restaurant on site within walking distance, we would definitely recommend The Hub, absolutely brilliant, the staff are extremely friendly and their full English breakfast is the best we've had in Spain so far. The communication with the owner was great before and during our stay too. Thank you so much Bob. We are hoping to book again another year.

Summary: This is a great 3 bed house on a quiet development. Pool was superb and we really enjoyed our stay. Easy parking with your own driveway. Big fridge freezer for all your supplies. Great communication with property owner both before and during rental. Many thanks!!!

Summary: The villa desperately needed a makeover, it looked tired and old all through the property. There was also lots of Ants. I wouldn’t book again.

Summary: We had a wonderful family holiday here and would go back in an instant. The area is very quiet & peaceful due to the fact it's now an unused golf resort. This didn't bother myself or my husband at all and our children 10 & 7 had a really great 10 days. The locals we met were all super friendly and helpful. A car is a huge advantage if you want to go and explore further afield. If you're happy to walk or go mountain biking you can in the mountains, we didn't but the option was there. Mosa Trajectum is a beautiful complex which gets unfair negative reviews due to property owners (not ours) giving out false and incorrect details when advertising their properties. Some owners apparently even stated it was still an up and running golf course which has a hotel and restaurant that are still open, sadly and unfortunately It doesn't. This is wholly wrong and unfair. Luckily for us we were under no illusion and had an absolute top holiday. Obviously in its day it was absolutely stunning but the views still are incredible. A special mention must go to a fantastic little bar run by two lovely sisters that serves the best chips & mayo I've ever tasted, delicious beers, gin & tonics and a super atmosphere Thank you ladies!! I like to think Mosa Trajectum will get the revamp it so deserves and an investor will put the time, effort and money into this very special complex. Big thanks to Claire who was our meet & greet. She's so lovely. So helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Missing you Mosa Trajectum. Hope to be back very soon. The Mongiovi family, Wolverhampton.
