Summary: I was relocating and needed a stay of four nights before moving into my new home. This is an absolutely adorable cottage home, and was totally decked out (tastefully and beautifully!) for the holidays. Pat is a caring, lovely person who enjoys chatting with you; most of the time I didn’t even see her, so you have your privacy as well. Two friendly little dogs are out of sight all of the time. I had several minor requests that Pat accommodated immediately; she can’t do enough for you. If you are planning a spring/summer/fall stay you will be rewarded with a most attractive garden and patio to enjoy. The train into Philadelphia is a seven-minute walk from the home, as are several cafés, restaurants, and some boutique shopping. Colleges are nearby. I rented the top floor with the private bath, and was comfortable and cozy. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you, Pat!

Summary: We rented two rooms In Pat’s lovely home for a one night stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean! The sheets and towels smelled amazing! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. She provided a wonderful ambiance in the dinning room downstairs she has a kruig coffee machine with a few snacks , a mini fridge, and a microwave. The living room was a haven beautifully decorated and a wonderful space to read a book or conversate. Pat was an amazing host! She was there to answer any questions and was prompt with her responses. She lives on premises but she is not intrusive at all. She has her own wing on the home that it’s like she is not even there. We felt we had the home all to ourselves! The home is centrally located near the colleges snd shops. We had a lovely time

Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and the owner has thoughtfully stocked it with everything one might need. It was convenient to all I had to do in town.

Summary: We came, 2 adults and 2 small children and this was the perfect location to get to know the main line. We were a short drive or train ride in to Philadelphia and did it every day for activities easily. The owner gave us privacy but was also very helpful and welcoming when we had questions or wanted to chat. She was very kind with our children who loved her and very accomodating with all of us- supplying them with extra snacks, covering up anything our two year old could run in to or knock over, making them laugh and smile and feel at home, and answering our questions about local schools. We heard she had dogs but never saw them. The yard is lovely for hanging out in and we did some meals and play out there. Do read the review carefully and understand that you don't have access to a real kitchen - that wasn't an issue for us but it does seem like some reviewers didn't understand that. My only suggestion would be to create a bit more space on dressers and tables for peoples' stuff in the rooms. Over all, exactly what the description says and pictures convey and a great stay.

Summary: Patricia Curtis is a great host and the location of this property is amazing. You can walk everywhere and if driving convenient to shops or the highway. We are currently relocating to the area and needed a place to accommodate my family. We even took advantage of having Patricia watch the kids so I could attend an evening work event! I highly recommend this spot no matter what your needs are: visiting colleges or your kids in college, sightseeing, local events, or like me relocating!

Summary: The hostess is a very sweet lady who is friendly and willing to chat and get to know her guests. My grown daughters were hesitant to stay in a home where the owner also lived, but we were looking for a place more in the suburbs for our trip to Philladelphia so we chose this one which is a 25 minute drive from there. The decor thru out the home is very attractive. We rented all 3 rooms on the 2nd floor and it was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable. We had access to the dining room, patio and living room too. There were 2 other guests staying in the suite on the 3rd floor but it wasn't awkward and we enjoyed chatting with them in the evenings if we saw them. We would definitely stay again.
