Negative: Fly screens needed on the window. Perhaps include on website directions etc re online reception - we were lucky there were workmen there who directed us.

Positive: Huge room, which felt luxurious. Comfy beds, lovely views. Parking right outside and close to major roads.

Negative: We arrived after the restaurant was shut and there was no where walkable to eat. It was a shame that we couldn't buy any wine when looking out on vineyards!!

Positive: The staff were a delight. The room was furnished to a very high standard and confortable

Negative: Tierra de Cubas is a vineyard which welcomes tours. The restaurant and accommodation are primarily services for those who come to tour around the vineyard. No reception support outside of times when the vineyard is open to visitors

Summary: Nice room, excellent views, but the staff rescued our opinion of the accommodation

Negative: Ridiculous rule that checkin should happen by 4pm. No restaurant or bar In the evening. Needed to walk three miles for food

Negative: It says is a hotel but it isn’t. Says has a restaurant but only works a lunch time. Doesn’t have a proper breakfast available. Toilet had a strong and bad smell through all my stay.

Summary: Won’t be in my list for future.

Positive: Room was very large. Excellent bathroom in room 5.

Negative: We arrived at 7.30pm and it took around 15-20 minutes before anyone came down to let us in. It’s part of a Bodega. The woman then charged us 20 euros for checking in after 4:30pm. How many people would be able to check in at 4:30pm to a place in the middle of nowhere without any facilities. No bar, no restaurant and breakfast was in a pre-prepared tray left in your room, so not fresh. It has a 4 star rating but what does that mean. We then found out our keycard didn’t work so we were unable to go out to the local village 3 miles away as we would never have got back in and because there is no reception you couldn’t solve the problem. It was more like a B&B or guesthouse with strict rules. The cost of having a dog was very high - 25 euros which is far more than other hotels. Also the woman that let us in did not speak English although the advert said you did. Will never return.
