Summary: This home is breathtaking. The land, the view(s), and the location is all stunning. In the 10+ years I’ve been using VRBO this is hands down the most fully equipped houses for familys/groups I’ve rented. Any and everything you can think of wanting or needing is there, and available for use. Thank you for allowing other to share in your rental, we will definitely be back.

Summary: Our family of seven, ages 16-80, had a lovely stay in this gracious house, in its peaceful setting with view. It was winter, raining, and still everyone had a great time. The kitchen is abundantly stocked with knives, plenty of cookware, coffee/tea, spices and oils, all kinds of small appliances, and the outdoor grill works great, with a copious propane supply -- in our experience, all not necessarily the norm in rentals, even nice ones like this. The teens enjoyed moving between the theater, hot tub, and downstairs pool table room, and we all played lots of games on the large dining table. The house is well cleaned and stocked. No searching for a dishtowel, or extra toilet paper, or really, anything. A binder has information explaining the workings of the house and its amenities clearly. Jason is a great host, easily communicative, and Timber Lodge is a an awesome rental.

Summary: Never mind the giant chess set in the pergola or the 10 seat movie theater or the game room with pool table, dart board and karaoke machine. Forget about the kitchen with every appliance you’ll ever need or the great room for conversation. Go for the serenity sitting on the deck looking out at the most beautiful view imaginable with a glass of wine. We absolutely loved this place!

Summary: "Did you see This?" That was our first response to each other as we explore the lodge. It was one wonderful discovery after another. We saved the down stairs room for last and once we got there, we had to try everything out! What fun we had for our theater night. Early mornings on the gorgeous patio watching the weather change. Beautiful creek sounds and evenings outside - loved the hot tub near the little creek. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms and we all had our turns in the big master suite bathtub. The kitchen...there were more appliances to choose from than I'd ever seen in one place. Well organized and supplied for informal as well as formal dining if you wanted. Beautiful dishes and glassware choices. Liked the 'popcorn' cart and treats. Enjoyed sitting by the fire place in the big lovely leather couch and furnitures.. We'd have to live there for quite some time to get to do everything that was available to us - just in the lodge! As it was we explored the island and went whale watching - doing what we could with time allowed. Thank you for providing just a wonderful place to stay.
