Summary: Truly a hidden gem! The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and the proximity to St, Léon-sur-Vézère, The kids had a blast playing on the lawn and the table tennis

Summary: Nice and clean villa and well equipped. Location is as described. Only issues are that the pool is shared and guest hours are 10am - 7pm which is not mentioned in the description. In addition, there is no aircon or fans for the bedrooms and it can get very hot. However, owners are very welcoming and on site if any help is required.

Summary: Just as described, peaceful, accessible, restful. Plenty to see and do in the area, especially for paleolithic interests. We had great fun listening to the birds in the nearby woods. Especially, our hosts were as helpful and friendly as it is possiblevto be.

Summary: This is a nice Gite in a wonderful location only a short walk from st Leon sur vezere . The property is well maintained and has everything you need however we found it lacked privacy as it is open to the road on one side and directly onto the owners property on the other.

Summary: Traditional Gîte offering all amenities ( dishwasher, laundry machine, microwave, wiFi, TV, Shower, bathtub etc, nice swimming pool). We had Ratsherr cold weather, and we would have appreciated some possibilty to heat the main room. The Hosts are very friendly

Summary: Net terug van onze tweede keer vakantie op deze fantastische plek en dat is geen toeval. Voor ons en onze 4 kinderen was het een totaal ervaring. Wij kunnen ons niet vinden in recente andere (en nogal zure) recensies, behalve de opmerking over het bed, dat mag wel vervangen worden. Het is een romantische boerderijtje en geen ultramoderne luxe villa. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een relaxte vakantie op een werkelijk fantastische plek. Alle praktische zaken zijn aanwezig, het zwembad is heerlijk en de tuin en het uitzicht prachtig. Het dorp is pittoresk en bied vele mogelijkheden om lekker te eten. Tip: maak een helikoptervlucht door het vezere-dal. Carole en Alain regelen het graag voor je. Heel vriendelijke mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan.

Summary: Ontvangst goed door eigenaren. Accomodatie verdient modernisering (matras bed begane grond is aan vervanging toe, er zit een kuil in en de badkamer eerste verdieping heeft een oude douche en op de begane grond alleen een bad).daarnaast is de privacy bij het zwembad onvoldoende, de schutting is niet volledig dicht en ook open aan1 kant waardoor de eigenaren die erachter wonen volledig in het zwembad kunnen kijken. Er was wat discussie over springen in het zwembad door de kinderen in verband met waterverlies. Dat vonden we een beetje kinderachtig omdat kinderen nou eenmaal spetteren en je dus het zwembad met water moet aanvullen.

Summary: Perfecte vakantie gehad eind juni met onze 3 dochtertjes. Saint-Leon is een heel mooi klein dorpje aan de Vézère waar je lekker kunt eten en kleine boodschapjes kunt doen. We waren er meteen nadat de grenzen weer open waren na de lockdown, het was nog rustig maar we hadden de indruk dat het een behoorlijk toeristisch dorpje is. Het leuke aan het huis is dat het buiten/boven het dorp is, op de helling. Van toerisme zul je dus geen last hebben, maar je kunt het als je er zin in hebt wel opzoeken (10 minuten lopen). Het huis en de plek zijn prachtig en werkelijk alles is aanwezig: van een zwembad en trampoline tot aan een staafmixer, badzitje en paraplus’s. Het is allemaal aanwezig. We hadden zelf veel te veel spullen meegenomen, totaal onnodig. Veel kleren mee is ook niet nodig want er is een wasmachine. Voor ons persoonlijk ook een groot pluspunt was de aanwezigheid van een waterontharder; die hebben we thuis ook (we zijn dus verwend) en meestal is de douche/het bad een minpunt in de vakantie. Hier niet. Carole en Alain zijn heel vriendelijke mensen die altijd ter beschikking staan maar nooit hinderlijk aanwezig zijn. Ze genieten er van om hun gasten te zien genieten van hun vakantie. Tijdens ons verblijf begaf de vaatwasser het, binnen 2 uren stond er een gloednieuwe. Voor de kids was het zwembad natuurlijk het hoogtepunt. Ze hebben er uren gespeeld en gezwommen. Het bad is ruim en schoon en de waterkwaliteit wordt goed in de gaten gehouden. De omgeving is prachtig. Je kunt er mooi wandelen en fietsen en er zijn veel dingen te doen (wij hebben niet veel uitstapjes gemaakt omdat het huis en de tuin voldoende biedt). Het boomklimpark ‘le conquil’ is een echte aanrader en er zijn verschillende grotten en kastelen in de omgeving. Al met al een perfecte vakantie!

Summary: We werden vanaf een afstandje al vriendelijk opgewacht/verwacht. Er stonden wat lekkernijen klaar met wat eerste levensmiddelen en tomaten uit de tuin. De gastheer en - vrouw waren niet te close, gaven ons veel ruimte, en niet te afstandelijk waardoor we wel dingen durfden te vragen. Zij hebben ons vriendelijk geholpen. De omgeving heeft genoeg te bieden voor uitstapjes met het gezin maar de tuin en het huis zijn ook fijn om te vertoeven.
