Approximately the size of a hotel room, this historic cottage was built in the 1870's and is nestled between Jones Street and Charlton Street in the Landmark Historic District. You will have your own private laundry. Bathroom has shower. We provide towels & hair dryer. Large shared patio is for 3 cottages that all occupy this historic land lot.
Small kitchen with granite countertops has, small range, miniature fridge with separate freezer and bar sink. We provide basic cooking utensils and 4 cup regular drip coffee maker. Queen bed, spacious closet.
Parking is free on the nearby streets. You cannot park in the Lane but you can unload right at your door and then park your car on Jones Street, using the side gate into the shared yard of this 3-cottage compound to access your back door! There are no meters in the 1 block radius so no permit is required for your parking. You will need to swap sides on Friday and Saturday since the street cleaner comes to Jones on Friday night for one side and Saturday night for the other side.

Summary: My daughter exclaimed, "Everything in here is tiny! It is a tiny cottage!". A good place for my daughter and I for a few nights. Clean and comfortable. You will need a few items from home: coffee and a bar of soap for the shower, but otherwise has enough for a short stay. Good communication from host.I would say that the door at 535 needs repaired as it has a significant enough gap around the lower side boarder and base, but other than that it is as described. Thank you for the cozy rental.

Summary: Great location. Front street entrance unappealing with neighboring properties. Rear entrance was very nice. a keurig coffee maker would be nice. The exhaust fan in bathroom needs repaired. Need to have a new bed and upgrade mattress and bedding.

Summary: Very nice stay, I would recommend some curtains and a complimentary coffee. When you wake up and you want coffee, you have to leave early morning. It sucks!!

Summary: Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Quaint, cozy, quiet, and a nice courtyard area. Close enough to walk anywhere, but far enough off the main drag that it’s peaceful. Highly recommend for the value and location.

Summary: Clean, organized, included everything one might need. Location is quiet and visiting neighbor was polite. Sounded like they had a plumbing issue.Needs a few things: front door has daylight between jam. A reinforcement was added to lock to increase strength but doesn’t extend length of door. Critters can enter.GFI on kitchen counter doesn’t work.Blinds in bathroom broken. Contact was short when first arrived to ask about unlocking. Maybe be more patient when visitor is calling to ask how to use lock to enter after 9 hours on road.Also, could have used courtesy call to ask about forgotten cooler. Oh well.
