Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This house has completely been remodeled. Cozy house on a nice corner lot. It includes a driveway that fits two cars and parking in front of the house. The home is located within walking distance to a community style public pool and playground. Embark on the many adventures in the surrounding areas, which include: Cherokee National Forest, Ocoee River, Historic L&N Depot Museum, Hiwassee River, Tellico Plains, an abundance of waterfalls and scenic views, Chattanooga (60 miles), and Knoxville (60 miles).
The space
Centrally located in East Tennessee. Knoxville and Chattanooga are both about 60 minutes away and Pigeon Forge is about 90 minutes away. The home is located in a quiet historic railroad town of Etowah, Tennessee. Walking distance to antique shops, playground and community pool. Easy access to the Hiwassee River, Ocoee River and the Cherokee National Forest.
You can also enjoy the rich railroad history at our L&N Depot where seasonal train rides are available.
The Ocoee River played host to the 1996 Summer Olympics whitewater rafting and kayak competitions. It's a level 3 and 4 rafting river and just a short drive from the home and provides awesome fun on any day of the week. The Hiwassee River and Tellico River is also just a short drive away and provides level 1 rafting.
We are located just a short distance away from The Cherohala Skyway and Tellico Plains. The Tail of the Dragon, Bald River Falls and Great Smokey Mountains National Park are just a short drive away.

Summary: What a wonderful , cute, cozy home. Traveling from Green Bay Wi, I wanted something in a layed back quiet and small neighborhood. And that it was. 😁😁. It was a great home base for day trips to North Carolina and Georgia. Smokie Mountains and Chattanooga and Pigeon Forge. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Bonus the house has an awesome patio out back with table and chairs. And even some fancy lighting. Loved it.

Summary: This was a cute little place! Check in was hassle free and owner was very responsive. We couldn't find the grill tools and he dropped some by the house within a couple hours. There is a community park within walking distance and my 6 year loved it. The backyard was big and well kept. My daughter enjoyed running around back there. My husband said the only thing that would make it better is a hot tub on that back deck. :)

Summary: 4 old guys on a motorcycle trip just wanting some place to sleep. Once we arrived we could not believe how nice this house was. It’s an old house that has been renovated. We FaceTime with our wives now they want to stay there. Nice old town lots of places to eat great motorcycle roads.would highly recommend. Talked to the owner super nice. Thanks Robbie

Summary: Our Etowah home was a great rental. The house with two bedrooms provided beds for all of our grabdkids and a nice backyard to play in. Check-in was super easy, the home was very clean with super comfortable beds, tv in all rooms, great internet and a wonderful kitchen to prepare meals in. The back deck was a treat with a bbq grill. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
