Positive: Everything. Resort is set in lush tropical garden with very nice pool. The dining area is outdoors and has very special vibe to it! Food was awesome and abundant. Staff super friendly

Negative: Hard pillows. There is 3 pillows on the bed so one of them could be soft.

Positive: Loved the tropical feel to the place, the gardens, the pool and how it was all lit up with fairy lights. We had a deluxe double room with garden view and it was so peaceful watching birds, bats and the odd mongoose from our terrace. The staff are all so friendly and will help with anything. Thanu, the owner’s son, runs the place extremely efficiently, speaks good English and is such a nice guy. And the breakfast spread was amazing - so many things including the elusive hopper which we hadn’t tried before.

Positive: Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice outside area with lot of chairs and hammocks. Beds were good as well

Negative: The standard family room had a persistent unpleasant smell, a bit chemical. It was also a bit noisy as next to the kitchen. I think that if we would have been in one of the bungalows this place would have been nearly perfect.

Positive: This is a fantastic place and we loved our two days here. Our room was great and the bed was large and very comfortable. The WiFi worked OK for us - more than enough for emails and browsing, although we did not try streaming. There was a nice patio to relax on and we were right next door to the beautiful pool. The solarium area was equally lovely - all well maintained with lots of hammocks and sunbeds to relax on. Parking was available and was secure. We were grateful for being allowed to check in two hours early and all of the staff were fantastic - they couldn't do enough for you. The food was very tasty, but the portion sizes were huge - we felt guilty leaving so much. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

Negative: I suppose the water pressure could have been better for a hot water shower, but it wasn't really a problem.

Summary: Beautiful oasis, highly recommended

Positive: Nice pool, very good price value, kind and flexible staff

Negative: Pool area needs maintenance, does not invite to stay (all mattresses are broken), staff should be allocated to work individually on issues instead of waiting and sitting around. Bath room is constantly open since someone broke the mosquito net and you cannot close the window. TV does not work, if you have a TV you need to take care of it. Breakfast with a lot of cookies / cake, unfortunately missing essential Sri Lankan elements (e.g. curry such as dhal, string hoppers, Pol or rice), even if kindly asked for. At the same time, the locals have gotten a different richer breakfast.
