Summary: What a wonderful discovery this was. We visited Tiszaújváros because we wanted to spend a couple of days soaking in the excellent medicinal thermal waters here - so we were very pleasantly surprised to discover such a great hotel that made our stay super special. The staff were helpful and friendly, accommodating both an early check-in and late check-out (thanks to availability) and the rooms were so elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were extra comfy, and the room was silent - we slept 10 hours thanks to the great room and relaxing waters. The food was excellent quality - although we would have appreciated a little more emphasis on vegetarian options. After all, at breakfast there were three different types of sausages but no sign of regular breakfast items such as cooked peppers, potatoes, mushrooms or tomatoes - all of which we have enjoyed at other Hungarian hotels. It would be *very* difficult to be vegan here, but the vegetarian dinner options were good as long as you don't have other dietary constraints (such as avoiding gluten or dairy). All this said, we would most certainly return and found the place good value and located immediately next to the wonderful baths (with entry generously allowed both on the full day you check-in and the full day you check-out, unlike many Hungarian thermal hotels where entry is often limited). The stay also includes free access to the excellent sauna section - we spent hours and hours enjoying it all!

Summary: It exceeded my expectations as I'm used to 4-star trash hotels. This hotel is by far the best for value. Special thanks to the lady at the reception for all the support during the stay.

Summary: We were very satisfied with the condition, comfort and cleanliness of the room and the service of the front desk. The breakfast buffet was very good (sparkling wine included), whereas the dinner buffets left some room for improvement. All dinner-time drinks were charged extra. The stay included unlimited entry to the adjoining thermal spa, for which the property provided free bathrobes and beach towels. However, some hotel staff members outside of the main reception had very limited English, so we had minor difficulties in communicating. The clientele of the hotel skewed older, with few families, so the ambience was more relaxed and stress-free. Overall, I was very happy and I would definitely stay there again.
