Positive: Laura, the hostess was very nice and helpful. the room was comfortable and very clean. there was additional space to eat dinner independently, including a microwave. Breakfast was also good.
Negative: The farm is not easily accessible without a car. public transportation is 20 min away by road without walking path. The location is excellent for anyone walking the Cotswold trail but not to independent travelers.

Positive: We actually did not stay at the Toghill Farm House. The proprietor seem very nice however we were hiking the Cotswold Way trail and this property is located off the path on a very busy thoroughfare with no sidewalks and not conducive to walking. We took at Uber from the trail to get there and realized as the property only offers breakfast there are no options for lunch or dinner unless you taxi or Uber there and back. This made no sense for us to stay for the 2 nights we booked. Cold Ashton/Wick is a very small parish with no amenities to offer, not even a grocery. We decided to forfeit the payment made (as it was not there fault) and left for Bath instead.

Positive: Room is cosy and nicely designed (I love the flowery lampshades!). I simply adore the breakfast room, the sun shines through and it's just a perfect way to start the morning - the full English breakfast is amazing as well. Staff are endearing and lovely. We enjoy the walk around and get to see the horses and the sheep, the view is stunning. It is nicely situated in between Bath and Bristol.

Positive: Really lovely comfortable room. Spotless. Very comfortable mattresses. Easy and straightforward check in. Lovely coffee/tea/ hot chocolate facilities. Beautiful countryside views. Stunning
Negative: During breakfast, we were not keen on the fact that the dogs could roam in and out whilst we were eating. No issues with the dogs roaming, just would have preferred that they did not come into the eating area Otherwise, a very comfortable stay. Thank you

Positive: The breakfast was great, the bed was very comfy, almost very quiet despite the busy road. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was able to continue my hike on the Cotswold Way thanks for the lift to Cold Ashton.
