Summary: We ended up staying at this house and the property next door because of a electrical issue (a nuisance rather than a safety issue). Both were very nice properties with some features that were slightly different but overall you couldn't go wrong with, as Dr. Seuss would say, "House 1" or "House 2". We enjoyed the neighborhood and liked the fact that we could walk to and from town (good exercise on the way up the hill!) or take an exhilarating, but safe ride up and down the hairpin turns. Many thanks to the hosts who were very helpful before and during the rental. In the end, it certainly was fortunate that they are hosts with several properties under their management. It was a very nice tie to visit the Como area at this time of year. We hope to return again. And yes, the view is as advertised.
