Summary: My husband and I, together with our indoors only rescue cat, stayed here over Christmas and we really enjoyed it. Ivy had gone to great lengths to ensure that our stay was comfortable, having taken the time and trouble to decorate the house for Christmas. Not only this but she left an array of home-made yummy treats such a bread, biscuits, preserves and eggs from the chickens at the rear of the property for us to consume. Our cat enjoyed watching the birds in the shrubbery - his version of Nestflix - whilst we loved the digital detox for there's no WiFi or phone reception. The bed linen was wondrously clean and crisp. There simply wasn't anything to fault. Many thanks Ivy!

Summary: We stayed 4 nights, lovely house with everything you need. Ivy is so generous, I’ve stayed in places that only give you 1 roll of toilet paper. Ivy had baskets of it. Also breakfast was supplied: eggs, bacon, sausages, orange juice, fruit. Fresh baked bread, butter, milk. Coffee, etc. The fire place was lovely at night and the bed very comfortable. All round lovely stay. It is 1hr from the beach and 45mins to Mt Gambier. But if you want to just chill at the house and go for a walk down by the river it’s lovely.
