Summary: A beatiful place. Rooms were immaculate. The guest room was a real bonus: large with panoramic views towards the Brecon Beacons. The breakfast menu was extensive and very well cooked. I would recommend this to anyone.

Summary: Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend.

Summary: We had a one night stay at Torlands and wish we could have stayed longer! The host met us on arrival for check in and showed us to our room. Everything was explained to us and we felt very welcome straight away. The room was very spacious and clean with very modern touches. The bathroom was excellent and also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items. We very much look forward to our next stay here.

Summary: Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.

Summary: This is a beautiful "upside down" house high on a hill with fantastic views. It is a mile or so from town & easily walkable if you don't mind the steep uphill on the return. The bedrooms are on the ground floor & are very well equipped & comfortable. The breakfast, prepared by the property owner, Bharat, was delicious & our stay overall was very good value.

Summary: A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay
