2 bedroom, 1 bath home totally remodeled in 2021-22, sleeps 4 with queen in1st bedroom and 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom. Central Heat & Air. Open kitchen and dining area that connects with TV room with a couple bar stools for plenty of room for taking it easy after great day of adventuring. TV room has a sofa and loveseat to recharge while planning your next hike and watching some TV. 50" TV in TV room, 32" TV's in bedrooms. Brand new bathroom has double sinks and tub/shower combo. Washer and Dryer. Deck w/picnic table & gas grill. Just out from deck is stone firepit for relaxing in the evening or anytime (Firewood provided).
The property is 150 feet long x 150 feet wide. No fence on property. There is additional parking space available for a Truck with Boat Trailer, Camper or RV.
Myrtle's Place is a short drive to all of the Best Outdoor Adventures that WV has to offer. It is right in the middle of the Gauley River National Recreation area and the New River National Park and Preserve Recreation area, just off historic Route 60 known as "The Midland Trail."

Summary: Super clean and very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults, two kids). Everything we needed for a home base while we explored the area. Conveniently located for easy access to the New River Gorge, Hawk Nest, Babcock and Fayetteville. Would definitely book again!

Summary: We came to this property for my 30th birthday. It was the first birthday trip I’ve done in sobriety. This property was SO clean, it smelled great upon check in. The host was always available for my MANY questions throughout the trip, and even gave some recommendations for food. The beds are so comfy and the couches were great for lounging and watching movies. Very comfortable. We didn’t get to use the fire pit, but only because we were too tired at the end of the day to start one! The only “complaint” I had, was the last night. We had 20mph winds, and it made the wood walls creak, snap, pop, very very loud, al night long. I was unable to sleep at all, and that’s with the sound machines on. Obviously, 20mph winds won’t be happening every single day, so it’s just something to be wary of if you plan to travel during a storm. Otherwise, best trip ever. We had sober cocktails, watched movies, and played the switch when we weren’t out hiking or exploring.

Summary: We stayed here on a visit to New River Gorge NP with our small dog. The house is cute and had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. It is close to everything we needed. Loved the decor and it was very homey. The only negative would be we arrived in pouring rain and it was quite dark and muddy, could’ve used a little more outdoor lighting and maybe a clear walkway. But, that is not a deal breaker. We highly recommend a stay here!

Summary: This place was perfect. Exactly as described. It exceeded my expectations. Fully accommodating (except food). A home away from home. I would higly recommend and would stay here again.

Summary: This house was so cute & nice! Beautiful & newly renovated! I will definitely be coming back with friends & family again in the future! A few minor things I will mention are the lights above the twin beds didn’t work. I noticed they were push button lights so I’m sure the batteries may have been dead. But I would suggest a small lamp on the nightstand. Also maybe some hooks in the bathroom for towels since we had multiple people staying while we were there. And maybe a handheld shower head. My brother is almost 6 ft so he had to squat down to get completely under the water to shower. All of these are just suggestions. We didn’t have any problems & thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much!! Larry & Lane were extremely nice which helped so much! Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

Summary: Had a wonderful stay @ Myrtle's. Quick short get away for our Anniversary with our pup. Great place in a good location. Minutes from several point of interest in NR and surrounding areas. First place ive ever been to that was the exactly like the pictures. Wished we could've stayed longer but will definitely not hesitate to book again ❤️ Thank you The Smiths
