Town End is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station.
Town End is a ground floor serviced apartment, with a spacious open plan living and kitchen area. It has one bedroom, with a double bed and a shower room. Outside there is space for two cars and bench.
The front door opens on to the living area, with open plan sitting and kitchen areas, doorways to bedroom and shower room.
The kitchen corner is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
In the spacious, open-plan living area there is a dining table which seats four, two small double sofas, a flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The bedroom has a queen size (five foot) bed, a wardrobe and a desk and chair. The shower room has a large walk in shower.
The property has access to a tennis court available to hire, games room and a children`s play area on the farm. There is also a shared garden available on the farm just a short walk away.
Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. Wi-fi is included in the rental.
We request a refundable GBP100 damage deposit for stays of up to 27 days, and one week`s rental for stays of over 28 days. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.
Please note that rental includes £20 per week towards electricity. Any extra is charged as used. This allows us to be able to remain environmentally green as possible.

Summary: We have now stayed at Town Farm a number of times and always receive a warm welcome. The cottage is great and provides all the facilities needed. Location is excellent with access to countryside walks from your doorstep. Highly recommended.

Summary: We recently had a two week stay in the cottage called Town End. The cottage was beautifully presented and had everything you need for a self catering break. The staff are lovely and friendly and always happy to help should you need anything. I would highly recommend staying here. It is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside but close to Tring station if you wanted to hop on a train to London. There are pubs and restaurants in walking distance and supermarkets in the local towns. I can't recommend Town Farm Cottages highly enough. Just to sum up, great location, fabulous staff, beautiful cottages, need I go on? We've booked for next year already. Thank you to all the staff.

Summary: We booked to stay at Town end cottage as we needed a short term let whilst we had building work done. A well appointed and comfortable cottage. Lovely rural location but close to local amenities and Ivinghoe beacon. Beautiful walks and countryside to enjoy. Only thing I would say as a minor point is the shower room cold as only heating is a wall fan. Rest of cottage lovely and warm ( stayed January) - well equipped and comfortable also dog friendly. Would recommend and would stay again

Summary: Town farm 'Barn Conversions' are first class. Well designed , well furnished and beautifully managed. I have stayed in most of the appartments and have never been disappointed. Rates are reasonable and vary with the seasons. Perfect accommodation for a weekend function in the area, or just a place to çhill', play golf or walk.

Summary: Well presented cottage, very comfortable and spacious. The staff we had to deal with was very friendly and great help whenever we had a question. the location is on a hill, very practical for us to walk the dog, and it's also just a few minutes walk away from the paths to the beacon. Highly recommended.
