Positive: Pet friendly with pet stations outside for disposal. The staff is great, friendly and welcoming. Our room was equipped with a stovetop, microwave and refrigerator.

Positive: The staff is great! They also have security on property. The property is clean inside and outside. Pet friendly property and they have disposal bags outside to clean up after your pets!

Positive: Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were also clean and nice. Price was decent and it has a nice central location by the river and downtown. There is a very nice walking/biking path along the river. Staff was friendly, especially the hispanic housekeepers.
Negative: Wifi was really poor, don't even try it. I think they want the longer term residents to pay separately for internet not poach off the hotel wifi. There are no nearby places to get breakfast. One could hear the neighboring rooms quite clearly. At least the neighbors weren't running any noisy hair dryers -- the bathrooms didn't have any (my wife thinks they probably got stolen). It seems like this once was a more popular place. It even had a pool and hot tube (now empty in a closed off portion of the hotel). They have converted some of the units to apartments or economical, long-term stay units that house some colorful characters. They don't get too many hotel clients now and the front desk is usually unattended. The fact that the front desk keeps no cash tells you something about the residents -- many busy smoking outside the restaurant (a room with 5 or 6 vending machines). But... life is an adventure, and you can feel good about having that concealed carry permit.

Positive: Cute little town! No waiting for staff, we got a free upgrade with our room, after finding a small issue with the original. Check out said 11-12. I appreciated the later check out option.
Negative: Seems like a lot of people live at these extended stays. Bumped into a very very drunk guy, sounded like quite a party. There was at least one Dog barking, kids screaming. Lots of odd smells from all the cooking and people.
