Summary: A great location in the Dordogne Valley. Many chateaux, gardens and medieval villages to visit. Central to the many caves where the troglodytes lived and of course the Dordogne River on which you can do many ventures.

Summary: Overall the gite was fine, well equipt for self catering very convenient for the centre but you have to drive too far to walk. Quite rural location, we booked this gite because it said it had Internet but this was not the case and left after two days (we had booked for 5) as we needed Internet for work reasons. Should note advertised with Wi-Fi when it dosnt have it, overall very dissasstisfied.

Summary: Annnabelle and David have established a very comfortable gite with all amenities. It is a short drive to all the most beautiful scenic areas, river activities, and a large supermarket. Highly recommended.

Summary: The gite comprises two spacious ground floor rooms plus toilet and shower room. It is comfortably furnished and has all the equipment etc. that anyone might require. There is a small patio at the rear overlooking the orchard. The location is ideal - 5 minutes from St Cyprien with shops, market etc. situated on a quiet lane beween the highway and the river. The area is perfect for touring the Perigord - we visited Sarlat, Perigieux and the Lascaux caves, to name just a few. The caves were especially spectacular. In short - just what we were looking for!!

Summary: What a fabulous, relaxing fortnight we had in Annabelle and David's cottage. Comfortable, and roomy, with the balcony table and chairs at the back and the little table and chairs at the front adding to the charm. So accessible to the many delights of the Dordogne and the lovely town of St Cyprien and its fabulous markets. Annabelle and David made us feel so warmly welcomed. We couldn't have wished for better for our first time in France. If we have the opportunity we will be returning there again!

Summary: I have stayed in David and Annabelle's lovely gite for 2 weeks every year since 2008. It is very comfortable with every amenity, and in a central location for exploring the Dordogne. StCyprien is close by, with 2 boulangeries, a supermarket, and a twice weekly market, and excellent restaurants are a short drive away. A morning walk along the riverside is recommended. Highly recommended.
