Summary: What a fantastic stay! The property was just perfect for our group! Easy access to the trailhead, plenty of parking and overall a great place. The host was very easy to communicate with. There is a great bar across the street that has yummy food and a good crowd. Highly recommend to stay. :)

Summary: Great house, and amazing interior. Very spacious, and felt like it was cared for very well. The owners supplied the house with activities( karaoke machine, fire wood for the fire pit, ect) the house is located in the center of matawan so if you are renting or have a side by side you can hop on the trail right next to the house which is trail 21. Very welcoming and friendly town, restaurants in walking distance, plenty of stores) all the locals will want to become your friends and that was very. Highly reccomend!!

Summary: This place was great. Had everything we needed. The owners are very responsive. It was very clean, spacious, convenient to stores and right across the street to the trailhead. Not many listings are accurate but this one was spot on. I would highly recommend Trailhead Lodging for any group wanting to hit the trails or just coming to town for any other reason. I will definitely be staying again if I’m coming back to this area. Highly recommend!!! Five stars! Would give more if I could! From NC ❤️
