This cozy fully self-contained Studio Apartment is a few minutes from Hastings Central next to the Hawke`s Bay Regional Sports Park. Tramal has a semi-rural outlook which you can enjoy the many events which are all very accessible. The Hawke`s Bay Regional Sports Park, which is only walking distance, Art Deco weekend Napier, which is only 15 minutes by car, Horse of the year 5 minutes, Mission concert 10 minutes. In the heart of Hawkes Bays wineries, cycle and walking tracks, beaches and close to golf courses.
The kitchen and laundry are fully functional. We supply tea, coffee, and milo with some milk to get you started. A heat pump will ensure you are comfortable regardless of the weather.
We have beautiful clean drinking water from our own artesian well.
Separate driveway from the main house with plenty of parking available for motorhomes, boats, trailers etc.
Our Studio Apartment is not really suitable for toddlers or young children because of our open staircase, children 10 years and over only, babies are welcome a porta cot can be supplied.
We have 2 friendly dogs that will probably meet you on arrival and be around during your stay. Perfect for business trips or a getaway weekend.
Special conditions:
Two nights minimum stay. 4 people maximum. Smoking allowed outside only please use the ash trays provided, No dogs. We expect guests to treat Tramal as their own home and to leave it tidy with all the dishes done prior to departing.
N.B Please be aware that we run a crop farming business in the summer and during harvest (and some other times) there are vehicles moving around nearby.

Summary: We have stayed there for a week for our daughter's swimming competition. It was great that she could come and go as she wants. Easy walking distance away from the road and with the sheep as company. The place is spacious, well equipped, warm for even cold mornings and great country side views. Thank you

Summary: A quiet peaceful country surround, about 10 minutes from shopping centre. Very clean and tidy, with quality utilities. Complimentary bottle of wine and fruit. Probably not suitable for young children or older adults as there’s steepish stairs up to a mezzanine bedroom. Loved our stay and would definitely return if there’s an opportunity!

Summary: Great location if traveling between Napier and Hastings, as we were. Very close to the highway, although we never heard the cars whilst inside. We also enjoyed the deck, and the volume of the highway still wasn't loud enough to warrant complaints. The apartment was spacious, warm and lovely. Everything you needed was provided. Although the property is behind the main house, it was also far enough for your own privacy, throughout our entire stay, we only saw the owner before we left. We wish to also thank Tracey for allowing us to take our 2 year old granddaughter, as it was stated that the apartment is not suitable for toddlers, but with a baby gate we managed. I highly recommend this apartment.

Summary: Easy check in. The property has absolutely everything you may need. Comfy beds, large, luxurious towels, fruit, wine and chocolates and a well equipped kitchen. Longer stays would be managed here. Easy to find as it is just off the expressway and rural yet a short drive to Napier, Hastings, Havelock North.

Summary: Fantastic location if you need to be close to the Mitre 10 sports park. This apartment had everything we needed and more and it was very helpful having a washing machine there for a week long stay. Tracy and Malcolm were wonderful hosts and did lots behind the scenes, in regards to communication - which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be booking here again next time we come to Hawkes Bay!!
