Oneil's villa is located in the quiet neighbourhood of Cardiff Hall in Runaway Bay, about an hour and ten minutes drive from the airport in Montego Bay. This lovely villa offers a "home-away from home" experience in a beautiful and tranquil setting, just 5 minutes away from the beautiful Cardiff Beach and a short drive away from restaurants and shops.
NOTICE.. VILLA ONLY SLEEPS 10 PEOPLE.
The villa staff includes a caretaker, housekeeper and cookmahal gusto ko na magtrabaho and anxious to meet the needs of our guests.
We know travelling can be tiresome so send us a grocery list ahead of your arrival and our staff will prepare a meal on your arrival and breakfast the following day. Meet with your cook on arrival and plan the your menu for the rest of your stay.
The villa consists of five en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining and a pool lounge. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units extra fee and fans. The villa offers the booking option of four or five bedrooms. Breakdown of accommodation:

Summary: We had very high expectations because of the mostly excellent reviews. We arrived late, but the dinner we booked was there and tasted wonderful after a long and late journey, thank you! There were places in the house that were not cleaned enough, but we understand that there was a change of staff and the nice woman, Marcia (hopefully correctly spelled) that made us such a good dinner, just had started. There were also a very friendly man staying at the house during the nights. He showed us and told us about a lot of different and interesting things. First day, we got at tour in the village by Mr. O'Neil and Marcia and information about good beaches, grocery stores and places to eat. Very much appreciated! The property is in a calm area and it was great that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. There were a few things missing and not as advertised, but most of it was tended to and we are satisfied with the stay! Our expectations were probably too high due to the very good reviews. Big thank you to Mr. O'Neil and the friendly staff that took care of us!

Summary: We stayed for a week with our six children and friend and loved it! Mr. Grant came to welcome us upon our arrival and answered all of our questions about the house and the area. The home was pristine when we got there and Ms. Bailey came to clean everyday except for Sunday. She also cooked us an authentic Jamaican dinner one night which was delicious. The kids LOVED the size of the pool, and the lanai and yard were equally impressive. We also enjoyed going up to the rooftop to look at the stars at night. Each bedroom has air conditioning which was also great to have. It was nice to have so many bedroom's and each has its' own bathroom. Salem's grocery is about 2 miles from the house which is a local shop. When we first arrived we made the mistake of going to The Country Store which caters more towards tourists and it was VERY expensive. It's best to find out where the locals shop and do the same. We liked that Runaway Bay is centrally located. We went to Ocho Rios several times and visited several beaches. The Bamboo Beach Club and Puerto Seco were both beautiful. Bamboo Beach Club had Jamaican dancers and music and food on the beach and Puerto Seco had a floating obstacle course for the kids. Runaway Beach is within a mile of the house and we enjoyed two days there and had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant on the beach. Sharkie's restaurant is about 2-3 miles from the house and is also right on the beach with really good drinks and food. We rented a car for the week and did a day trip every day. Dunn's River Falls was the highlight for me. It was just spectacular and not something that you can do every day. We also did the Luminous Lagoon which was cool but not worth the money that we had to pay. Overall I would highly recommend this villa. We made some wonderful memories there and would certainly go back!

They treated us like family and were so nice and helpful with everything we asked! I am so glad we decided to book this villa instead of the resort and have a true Jamaica experience! We will definitely look to stay here again if we ever make it back to Jamaica!

Summary: Lovely home, well maintained swimming pool and gardens. Felt secure and villa is fitted with alarm and safe. Nicely presented and clean in all areas. Good size rooms all with ensuites. Wi fi nor TV worked (Cable). However got some dvds and purchased a local sim local sim and data credit for Ja $3000. The karaoke sound system was good. Mrs Riley was happy to be of any assistance including cooking cleaning etc if needed. Thanks for helping us get an additional car. It's approx 20 min walk from runaway bay (Flavours). However from there easy to to Ocho etc, by bus or taxi which you can get for cheap. Also salem or brownstown stop light for nearest supermarket. So it's handy to have some transport. So overall it's a lovely villa and had the most enjoyable stay. We found it great value for money. Mr O'Neil villa is well equipped and has a cold drinking water dispenser, optics and many more quirky things which we would not expected which was an added bonus.

Summary: Where do I start the Accommdation was so clean and up to date I felt so at home. Plus was it was so close to the beach and better still we had our own pool, I could not get my son to leave it. The area is nice the food provided was lovely lots to drink as well. WIfi was continuos will defi visit again and recommend. Loved the almond tree and we had coconut water straight from the tree in the garden
