Summary: we spent a wonderful week. The place is beautiful with lots of room (we were a group of 7 adults and 5 children). We enjoyed the pool and the petanque field.

Summary: We came to celebrate a significant birthday with extended family and friends (and a dog). The place was perfect. The teenagers had a fantastic time in the pool, and the adults went out discovering the surroundings each day.

Summary: We had a lovely one month stay in this Provençal home. The property is well-equipped and full of options for large groups. The owner was very attentive and accomodationg. We were occasionally 12 people all with comfortable beds, enjoying the pool and pétanque games, feasts on the patio, stunning view of Saignon village and splendid time together. Easy access to many Provençal villages and marchés. A wonderful place to come home to cook and relax. Yearning to go back again!

Summary: We can't say enough good things about our holiday in this house. The house itself is lovely, comfortable, with plenty of space and in different permutations for all 11 of us, including our children, grandchildren and brother-in-law. Between the main house, and the little cabanon behind the pool, everyone had appropriate room and bathrooms. The glory of the property is the beautiful shaded outdoor dining/living area easily accessible from both floors of the house and overlooking the pool. We spent most of our time there underneath the shade trees, which were lit by strings of patio lights in the evening - eating, chatting on the couches, keeping an eye on people in the pool just through the fence. The pool itself was wonderful - heated, with a heated outdoor shower (!), well maintained by a friendly person who came 3 times while we were there to check on the PH, and clean out leaves. As if that weren't enough, there's a petanque court in the front garden - we spent a fair bit of time there competing, chatting, laughing. Also a portable badminton net, which we moved around to stay in the shade. A fabulous view of Saignon from many angles, and an easy drive to get there for breakfast at Chez Christine, dinner at Le Jardin sur le Toit, and many other delights. Fun to spend time at the Apt market. Friendly people on hand to show us around and hand over the keys to at the end. A memorable holiday. Thank you so much!

Summary: We loved this house! The location was quiet and convenient, the inside was cute and clean, we loved the pool and the family seating areas, and check in and out were easy. I highly recommend this home for a large group looking to be comfortable and close to all the this region has to offer!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at John & Vicky’s holiday home with our family. Very spacious with lots of outdoor dining and seating area - the pool is excellent and used most days by everyone. The location was great for us with lots of wonderful pretty hilltop villages to visit especially on market days. The house was very well equipped with all you would need. The bedrooms were light and airy and the beds very comfortable. John sent us a very comprehensive guide to the area before we arrived which we found very useful. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again in the future.

Summary: The house was a great place for a holiday. Very comfortable and a wonderful outside area for relaxation for the adults and play area for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with all amenities and the hosts were very generous with items left for the guests' use. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Summary: We had a great time in this beautiful house. It is meticulously maintained, very clean and well equipped. The housekeepers greeted us upon arrived and showed us around. The pool was heated, which was a huge plus for my elderly parents who really enjoyed it. The pizza oven was fun to use and the outdoor dining area is amazing. We played ping pong and pétanque and just enjoyed sotting together. The area has a lot if sights to offer and is definitely worth a longer visit. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explore the area from your beautiful house!

Summary: We were 3 families with children aged between 8 amd 15 and we stayed at Johns house at the end August. The house and the grounds are both very spacious and the decor inside is quirky, bright and welcoming. We loved the pool, table tennis, boules and spent most evenings sipping our wine, cooking on the barbecue whilst the children played to their hearts content. The house sits above Apt and has amazing views over to the beautiful village of Saignon. We walked there through the quiet lanes one afternoon and enjoyed ice creams and beers before our return. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking for large groups and the house is plenty big enough for 3 families to mingle yet have space for their own down time. John was incredibly helpful with lots of informative e mails before our stay. Would highly recommend this great house.

Summary: We discovered late in the booking process that there were no facilities for small children. We therefore took cots and cot bedding, highchairs, booster seat, toys etc. This was possible only because we had a campervan. There were some inflatables in the pool house. The grass was about 1foot high which discouraged ball games. The wifi took a day to get operational. The cesspit needed emptying. The pool was great. Quite a long walk down a steep hill into Apt. Great hilltop villages in the area. Supermarkets easy to access by car.
