Summary: Salzburg is one of the most beautiful cities, we have ever been. It is the perfect combination of natural beauty, rich historical footsteps and what a great cuisine. Dagmar`s house was ideal for our group of 7, it is very close to the city center in a very nice neighborhood. The house is spacious, has a very nice terrace and garden and is spotless clean. It offers all amenities to feel at home and Dagmar was very easy to comunicate with. We bought the Salzburg Pass which is very recommendable and covers bus tickets and museum entrances. It was a very enjoyable stay and we can highly recomment it.

Summary: I stayed at this house with a few of my family members to visit my niece while she studies in Salzburg, Austria. This was a great home base for us. Located right next to a bus line and grocery store. The place is clean and well furnished. The owner is fabulous and gave us great tips for getting around. There are foot paths all around the area as well as a park and playground. The area is beautiful with a mountain as a back drop. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Summary: We stayed in this home while visiting family studying at the University of Salzburg. For some in our trip, this was our first stay in Europe. This home was perfect. It is wonderfully furnished and had plenty of room for our group of four. The owner spent time to ensure we knew where everything was and explained the bus system. We were able to easily access all of the main attractions in and around Salzburg without requiring a car. The kitchen is fully outfitted and a market is a very short walk, allowing our party to prepare meals as we wanted. I cannot say enough about how well situated this home is and how gracious the owner is. I highly recommend this rental home.

Summary: We visited Salzburg In August 2015 (the website calendar is not operating correctly). This home was just as pictured and described on the website. Very comfortable, quiet, clean and situated in a very nice neighborhood close, but not too close, to the city center. We had 4 people staying in the home. Plenty of room for all of us. There is parking which was helpful as we had a rental car. The home is also located very near the bus line which takes you the short ride to the city center. It's walking distance to the nearest Spar market, a konditorei and a bier garden. All the necessities! We had a wonderful time in Salzburg and would highly recommend this home.

Summary: The owner of the house, Dagmar, was incredibly helpful in the run up to our stay and she welcomed us upon arrival. The house is really thoughtfully furnished, with everything you need for a lovely family holiday. The master bedroom is particularly nice with a huge double bed and terrace, the other bedrooms are also comfortable. This has to be one of the cleanest holiday homes I have ever been to, it is beautifully maintained! we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden or on the terrace as it was sunny weather. We found it was very possible to walk in to the centre of town. We did not use a bus or taxi once (even with a baby in a pram) but if you wanted to, there is a bus stop close by. There is a very good supermarket (Spar) a 5 minute walk away and a shopping centre, ZiB, (we needed swimwear to use the local lido!) just over a mile away.

Summary: We spent 2 month in Europe and our highlight was definitely our stay at Dagmar’s house in Salzburg. The location is very green and tranquil but also very central to down town. You breathe an incredible fresh air from the forest and mountain close by and in the morning you can have breakfast at the terrace or in the garden and just hear the birds. With the bus it is a 10 minutes ride to the city but we enjoyed it also very much to walk back to the house from down town. It is an easy 30 minutes’ walk with a lovely scenery. The house is very spacious and provides all commodities one needs. Dagmar is a great host and puts much effort in all the details. It was also spotless clean. We did a lot of tours and it was a great base to explore the city and surrounding lake areas. Especially recommendable is the Schloss Hellbrun, a church service at the Dom and on a rainy day the Saltmines in Hallein. Often we left early in the morning and came back in the afternoon. It was great to relax in the garden or at the terrace and just read a book or listen to some Mozart music. If you look for an unique spot to spent a really great time, you wont regret it. We hope to come back soon

Summary: We stayed here during December to visit beautiful Salzburg. The house is very convenient to public transport (tip-buy the 24 hour ticket if you are only in town for a few days, or a Salzburg Card if you are there for more than 3 or 4). We had 4 adults and two small children. There was plenty of space for us and the home was very clean, the cleanest we have ever stayed in truthfully. There is a grocery store very close (right off of the bus stop) and it only takes a few minutes to get to the O-bus stop. The owner was very helpful and we would absolutely stay here again if we visit Salzburg again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: The house was very comfortable and well maintained and in a quite neighborhood in the city. We found it to be quite spacious for six people (3 adults, 3 kids). The location is very convenient. The bus stop is only 5 min away and from there you can be in the city center in less than 10 min. There is also a supermarket at the bus stop. We saw many of the sights in old Salzburg, the fortress, Mirabell Palace/Gardens, Mozart's residence, Christmas Market, to name a few. If you have kids, there is a great natural history museum and science center that is very kid friendly. Also a 1/2 hour drive brings you to the salt mine exhibition in Hallein, which is also fun for kids. The owner was very helpful in providing local information. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We were 4 adults and 3 children travelling together. Our stay at Residence Mozart was truly were warm, at home. Spacious hall cum dining at the lower level, and 3 bedrooms (incl a master bedroom ) at Level 1. We had a comfortable stay. The supermarket is closeby and also the bus lines are about 5 minute walking distance from the house. Good neighbourhood, there is a park nearby for children to play. The one thing that could be considered by the host is to have two rooms with double beds, instead of the current one. Mr. Hannes was a good host, he was present to welcome us and also show us around (unlike many places from our earlier homestays where we never met the host). Overall great place, great experience.
