Waterfront community of Banana Bay is a much loved, gated property in Perdido Key with a private, white sandy beach on a No Wake Zone section of the Intracoastal waterway. Beach Front Paradise is a popular 4 Bedroom coastal villa with 2 full baths and 1 half bath that sleeps 9. It has a loyal following that absolutely loves this location close to the blinding white beaches of the sparkling Gulf of Mexico, the highlighter colored sunsets, looking for dolphins and manatees and watching boats of every size and shape cruise by. FYI - This is a great beach for fishing too, for those who like to have insider information. Speaking of boating and fishing, there is a 30 foot boat slip as an optional upgrade for this rental. Only $25 a day / $150 a week to bring your beloved boat on vacation. Deepwater passes to the Gulf are only minutes away and located both East & West of the property. Or you can skip the Passes to the Gulf and leisurely cruise all the way down the ICW to Destin towards the East or westward to Mobile Bay.
Literally, walk out the back door to your own private beach but the interior is great too! This gorgeous townhome was custom built with numerous upgrades. A new over-sized leather sectional sofa was just added to the living room for casual comfort. With approx. 2,400 sf with 12' ceilings, this home has a very light and airy feel due to the large windows and fabulous ceiling fans in each room. The first floor provides a feel of elegance with tasteful beach decor and travertine tile throughout. The staircase and second floor offer glistening hardwood Bamboo floors. The safe and secure gated community offers many amenities including a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, exercise room and guest house. For your convenience, a bunch of beach toys are available for the kids to play with,. Several beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a giant beach wagon are available to transport your belongings back and forth to the convenient private beach.
Banana Bay Community is located on the north most side of Perdido Key, in an area often referred to as Dolphin Pass and/or Sunset Pass. Yes, you will almost definitely see schools of dolphin swimming by and you might see the Blue Angels practicing overhead. This location places you ideally between the activities of Orange Beach attractions like the famous FloraBama and The Wharf and Gulf Shores attractions like The Hangout and The Zoo. Pensacola is close by with all the shopping and restaurants in beautiful Downtown Pensacola. The Naval Museum is at NAS Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels. Summary: This is the sixth time we have stayed in Banana Bay and the second time we have stayed in this unit. We absolutely love this place. This unit is amazing. It is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is amazing. We love everything about this unit. We will be back next year to make more great memories.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful. It was lovely having a beach just steps out the back door. The home was decorated nicely and was very roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed for our home-cooked meals. It was great having dumpsters for trash rather than an overflowing bin/tote. Nice community.

Summary: We loved this place. Basically a private beach. We saw manatees and tons of dolphins. We loved to sit with our lines in the water and watch the boats go by. This place was clean where it mattered but pretty yuck under the beds and couches. There was also a chunk missing from a tile in the bedroom on the first floor that my little guy cut his foot on. I told the management company about both issues and they offered to have it rectified immediately. Their customer service was great. The pool on property was kinda chilly but not awful. There are 2 restraunts nearby and they are borh great. Sunset grill was our favorite. Get a bushwacker! We would 100% come back.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for my son and his family to visit. A few things to note is that the master suite is on the 2nd floor. Also the listing shows a table and chairs for outdoor dining and instead there are some Adirondack chairs. There weren’t any beach chairs but plenty of beach toys for the kids. Despite these few things it is in a great location and we would definitely consider choosing this home again for future visits.

Summary: We love this area! Two years ago we had the absolute best experience all the way around. This time, not so much. Beach is still perfect. Fish market a few moments away. Nice chill space to enjoy the boats going by. Easy Li ration to navigate from. This particular unit was run down. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The layout was not what my family needed with an elderly person who doesn’t walk well. Was told there would be a full bathroom downstairs. There were no pool/beach towels provided like last time, they only provided very little paper and soap products for an entire weeks stay. The washer and dryer were faulty and the toilets didn’t flush well. For the rate and duration we expected much more. Still love the area. Won’t stay in this unit again. Many broken things and all the stuff on the wall was hanging sideways. Just didn’t feel welcoming.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The showers were great! Wonderful water pressure! I enjoyed the large bathtub as well 😄It was a little too early in the season to swim in the pool (too cool). But we really enjoyed the hot tub! Thank you for a great stay😄

Summary: Great location quiet neighborhood unit needs some updating flooring especially. We stayed for over a month had a great time watching the boats and barges go by. I think the unit is under new ownership so need to give them time to update. If you stay for a longer period. I would bring your own pots and pans ever thing they had was mismatched. We really enjoyed are stay.
