Positive: Had a wonderful stay at Travassos 11. It’s the kind of place where every detail has been thought through to make it the best experience possible. The space is gorgeous, comfortable and peaceful. The back space with the pool is especially great. I received a very kind welcome from the host. Breakfast is very nice. Would stay there again.

Positive: Travassos 11 is in a restored palace with a series of common areas that have some quirky touches. The room we stayed in was spartan and spacious with plenty of natural light. The bathroom was ample with a full bathtub, which was much appreciated. Note: the rooms are not original to the palace and the photos do not do this place justice. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a set meal served with made to order eggs. There was only one person on staff, but Lisa was very nice and helpful. The location is in a working class area so there are not so many tourists (which might be challenging for some) - it is a (steep) walk uphill to get to restaurants and main sites, but takes only about 15 minutes as the town is not large (again, maybe a challenge for some). This is a nice and memorable place for a short stay in Elvas.
Negative: there is no parking at the facility, which was not a problem as there was parking nearby.

Positive: Firstly, the customer service was excellent. I really appreciated the help of Duarte in introducing us to the residence and making us feel comfortable. We stayed in the apartment - which was even more than we had expected in its comfort and design. The entire building was beautiful, and we also appreciated the garden, pool and honesty bar. Breakfast was also excellent. Elegant - and great value. Elvas is also also a beautiful town.

Positive: Everything was top. The staf was great. Showing us the whole house on arrival. The house is unbelivable. Incredible value for the money. On breakfast we felt us like royalty.
