Positive: The place was very nice with the warmest hospitality. The location was perfect as we looked for a hotel near the airport and close to old town. Muhammad helped us and was very nice as we needed to leave early morning, he prepared for us fresh coffee and some takeaways.
Negative: Noise from nearby mosques at early morning time

Positive: Perfect location for exploring stone town, helpful staff who were able to organise transport for us (including after flight changes) from the airport and on to our next destination and a delicious breakfast each morning!

Positive: The breakfast was wonderful- authentic food and the best staff. The location was very central and near to anything. When we arrived the bed was VERY firm/ hard but the following morning we asked about it and the owner explained that they were new mattress that hadn’t been broken in yet. He provided cushions that were much better and we stayed two more nights. Taxi was also convenient and well run.
Negative: Initially the bed was very hard but they fixed it for us :)

Khalid and his team are absolute stars, they truly know how to make guests feel at home and go above and beyond to help organize every detail of your trip. Their care and effort are remarkable! The accommodation itself is centrally located in Stone Town, a brand-new, clean, and well-equipped hotel. It has all the important comforts, plus a lovely rooftop terrace with beautiful views over the city. The hotel also has its own little shop that stays open in the evening, as well as a charming souvenir store for gifts and keepsakes. I will absolutely be coming back here! A special thanks to Mohammed, who made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Don’t hesitate, book your stay at Treasures of Zanzibar House! You won’t regret it!
