Negative: No instruction manuals so difficult to operate oven and even dishwasher. Impossible to message owner, had to pay in full on booking, downstairs bedroom smelt damp

Positive: A lovely roomy and light house, well located, near the village and the Tor. Spacious rooms and a big kitchen, the garden is lovely too. We had a great time!
Negative: The biggest rooms only had double beds, which makes sharing a bit uneasy (twins would be nicer, and there is plenty of room in these lovely large rooms.) But what was really uneasy was how to get in touch. There is no direct way to communicate with the owner, it should all go through Sykes, who responds only with a standard reaction and not in regards to a question ('are there towels provided?'), Sykes whishes you to subscribe to their website and handle those questions there, but booking I made was not to be found on their site in my account, after I made one - when trying to call I waited for half an hour but did not get through - and on emails I only got the same standard mail). Everything was in order in the house though, so it all worked out. :)
