Summary: It was clean except for the strong smell of sewer gas. We had to open door and go out to get a candle. Also, no where in the listing was an active train going past at least 4 times in the night, sounding it's horn. We only stayed 1 night instead of 2 we paid a lot for. :(

Summary: Where do I begin.. 1st - the cleanliness was perfect. It felt like home. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and relaxing with good pressure, view was peaceful. 2nd - the location is perfect, close enough to things but secluded enough to relax 3rd - parking was fantastic. Not having to go in circles trying to find a park. Great part of town, safe and relaxing. 4th - communication was excellent. From the moment we booked until we left we were informed and everything was exactly as listed. So many small details considered to make your stay great. They really thought of everything. Thank you!

Summary: This place was perfect! Private, quiet location near an Amish community. Peaceful, country feel, but only minutes from a nice restaurant/shopping area. It does sit close to an active train track, but we enjoyed the sounds of the trains going by a couple of times a day. Everything was absolutely spotless and the whole place felt fresh, clean and new. Comfortably furnished and stocked with everything we needed. Check in was a breeze with great communication, and the hosts were nearby in case we needed anything. Did I mention it was CLEAN? This place was absolutely spotless! Would definitely recommend.

Summary: I had an amazing time in New Haven! The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. I was greeted by a very kind note from the property owners telling me a bit about their home and family history, which after traveling solo for a bit was such a nice treat! Candace, who hosts on behalf of her parents, was great with communication before, during, and after my reservation. I had mentioned an interest in running, and she not only provided me with so many local resources, but also specific information on running and trails in the area, which was very considerate. During my stay, that was a seconds-long power outage that knocked out the wifi, and after texting with Candace, someone arrived within 10/15 minutes to resolve the issue, which was very appreciated! It was also nice being only a short drive from Fort Wayne and getting to explore (although be mindful I found that many things were closed on Sundays and Mondays), and then getting to come back to this peaceful property. The view is amazing and having access to the seating area on the little lake brought me a lot of joy. I cherished every sunset, and the fire pit only made it that much better! One point of consideration for future travelers - this property is directly next to a train. While it startled me the first time it came though, I found it very charming and loved seeing the train pass by the window! Highly recommend staying here!
