Positive: Solid value for money and a great location right at the beach.

Negative: On the downside, cleanliness could definitely be improved. Cleaning only happened on request, including in the common areas. There were cats everywhere, which we didn’t like — especially since they were being fed raw fish in the dining area. One morning, the water was out, so we couldn’t even refill our drinking water. Communication was also difficult, as very little English is spoken, making even simple requests (like for breakfast) challenging. Overall, the staff didn’t come across as particularly friendly or welcoming.

Positive: The accommodation was exactly as described, clean and comfortable, but what truly made this stay special were the owners, Maria and Ronald. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel genuinely at home from the very first day. The entire village community was incredibly kind and friendly, adding an authentic and heartwarming touch to the experience. And the Kei Islands are highly worth a visit.

Positive: Perfect location in a lovely, pretty quiet part of the beach. Maria and her team would super friendly and helpful. The bungalows are cute and work really nicely with the location.

Negative: Breakfast was good, but really quite small portions. Would love to be able to eat some more local fruit each morning, and maybe have another egg in the omelette. In these parts there also seems to be a consistent tendency to bring out all food together, regardless of what people have ordered. We'd prefer eating things hot, as soon as they're ready.

Positive: This is really a nice and comfortable place to stay. You hear the waves from your room and see the sunset from your balcony. Ayu is really helpful and can arrange everything you need from ferry and plane tickets to a snorkeltrip. The food is also dilicious. And as an extra bonus there is even hot water

Negative: - curtain is too thin, ppl can see us if we turn on the light - quite noisy in the morning, I felt like something fell on the roof - the bed isn't really comfortable for me - the staff asked me to check out at 11am :( I was dissapointed

Positive: Ibu Ayu and her husband Ronald are the owners of this cottage. They are very sweet and helpful. They also arrange the airport shuttle to and from the cottage. They also arrange sightseeing tours of the island and surroundings. Special thanks go to July and her aunt. The two lovely people were ready for us every day for breakfast and to prepare lunch or dinner on request. I was able to celebrate my birthday at this special location on April 4, it was awesome!

Positive: Awesome location in front of the most perfect white sand beach. The hut was more comfortable than we expected - we had WiFi, aircon and abundant hot water! Our friendly hosts looked after us well. They organised airport pick up/drop off for us. We also rented a motorbike and did a boat trip to Baer Island - all arranged by them.

Negative: Food was simple but you have the option to eat at Ten Cafe nearby. The cafe will also deliver. Unfortunately, the unpredictable Lion Air cancelled our flight back to Ambon, so we had to leave a day early. Not impressed with that!
