This is a 3 person en suite and you can choose the bedding configuration that best matches your needs. You can select between a double (twin) bed + one single bed OR three single beds.
NOTE: three guests MUST be booked to stay in room (unless room is booked as last option due to all other rooms fully booked).
All guest rooms have a comfortable bed (double OR two singles) and each room comes fully equipped with their own private en-suite bathroom, TV, free wireless high speed internet and tea and coffee making facilities. These gorgeous rooms are fitted with high ceilings and are able to comfortably sleep up to three people with any combination of beds.
Just 20 minutes from the historic market town of Shrewsbury, here we have the recently converted 18th century Coaching Barns located right in the heart of the busy town called Wem. The Coaching Barns were once used for coaching the horses which would pass through the old market town.
The recent conversion has cleverly retained its original 18th century stone exterior finish, whilst beautifully turning the interior into modern and cosy motel rooms. Each room comes fully equipped with their own private shower en-suite bathroom, Small fridge, TV, free wireless high speed internet and tea and coffee making facilities. These gorgeous rooms are fitted with high ceilings and are able to comfortably sleep up to three people with any combination of beds.
PLEASE NOTE The Coaching Barns are a motel style accommodation and located next door to a pub and its car park. however this may also be the highlight of your stay with just a hop, skip and jump to the pub next door.

Summary: Room had everything and an added bonus was a fridge in the room absolutely spotless and nice touch was a good selection of cutlery and crockery fantastic room

Summary: The rooms have everything you want during your stay and are clean and comfortable. It a pity the pub next doors customer parking often means guests cannot find parking. However the co_op car park next door is very reasonable only 3.20 for 24 hours.

Summary: We were surprised by the light and airy feel of the room as soon as we entered. Lovely large bed with unit containing hospitality tray, kettle plus cutlery, plates and bowls. There was a fan that was needed and we kept this going all through the night. The bathroom was well equipped and also stored two folding chairs for outdoor use. Although there was plenty of light from the windows the blinds were adequate to keep the rooms private. The very busy car park was shared with the pub next door.

Summary: My girls and I needed a little place to stay for a night following a visit to Hawkstone Park Follies. The Coaching Barns was absolutely perfect. I was sent the check in details 2 days prior to our stay, which were very easy to follow and then emailed the access code the morning of our stay. The place was very easy to find, situated in the carpark of a pub so plenty of parking and was very quiet. There are lots of place to eat nearby or takeaways available which there was information about in the room. There is also a coop around the corner so plent of options for food. In the room there was facilities to make hot drinks as well as plates and bowls if we wanted to get a take away. The room was very clean and there was nothing we would change about the stay. Thank you, we would definitely be back again

Summary: Clean, tidy and perfect for what we needed. It was a little warm in our room overnight due to no opening windows (aside from in the bathroom) but let’s face it, that’s rarely a problem in the UK!
