Summary: The room was clean . Small , I chose the second floor as I didn’t Want to drag my bag further up stairs . The first set was bad enough . It’s good for one night only . I stayed 3 . Because it’s an old building renovated , the room had no window so a bit claustrophobic . Ok for one person only. No where to hang anything - a hook on the wall would be good . No towel rail so it was always damp . Put my own garbage out … not sure about that one . The owner was great at helping me decide which floor I wanted tho . The noise from the bar across the road starts at 2200 & ends at 0400 - it’s perfect if you want to drink all night and roll into bed … otherwise the bar noise is unremitting

Summary: This is not a hotel, it’s a hostel. They rent rooms with a build-in bathroom. I only stayed for a few hours but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Summary: We were happy to find a room in Old San Juan and at an affordable price. The room was small but provided the basics of what we needed for a short stay. We were able to keep our luggage in lockers after checkout which was very helpful. This location was convenient to walk around the area and uber to cruise port.

Summary: The best that I can say about Trotamundos was that the place was mostly clean and there were no bugs. Everything else was disappointing. By far the most problematic issue was the noise. We stayed on a Saturday night and the immediately adjacent bar was playing very loud music until 2 a.m. The noise was pounding and impossible to ignore. There was also an incredibly steep ladder (made out of 2x6 boards that was the only way to the sleeping loft. Bringing any large suitcase to the loft was impossible. The ladder would be dangerous for anyone who has any mobility impairment. Furniture, was little that existed, was worn and pretty uncomfortable. No, we would not stay at this location again and would not recommend it unless your sole purpose of the visit was to party in Old San Juan. But don't attempt the ladder to the bed while inebriated. It might be your last climb!

Summary: Check-in was easy once I called twice to get instructions sent to me. Room was quaint but floor and rugs inside were so dirty I had to stay in flip flops the whole time. Shower was short, so as long as you’re 5’6” or below, you’ll be fine! Positives: Location is just a few blocks away from El Morro and the beach, so that was wonderful and just as advertised. The balcony is open to all and offered a great view of the street. Air conditioning was great. On-site assistance was available during the day.
