Summary: It was lovely, all except that the pancake machine was a bust. There was a line the whole time. It was slow and kept stopping. Variety was low and every breakfast for me was a muffin and coffee.

Summary: This was a good hotel for our time in Wilmington. Fairly close to all the things we wanted to do/see. The hotel pool is VERY nice—probably the best part of the stay, but everything else was fine, too. No problems at all and when we requested extra housekeeping, we got it.

Summary: We stayed at the Tru by Hilton/Wilmington from 6/17/25 - 6/21/25. First, Our room never got cleaned once! We complained on Thursday that nobody had been in to empty our garbage or even bring us new towels. They brought us new towels and said someone would be in on Friday to clean. We got back to our hotel Friday evening and they still hadn't cleaned. When I say clean, I am expecting the bare minimum which is take the garbage and take the dirty towels - that's it! I never expect them to do a complete room clean for a four day stay. By the time we left on Saturday we had a mound of dirty towels and garbage that was overflowing. Secondly, the rooms are very small and don't have any dresser's to put your things away in, therefore, be prepared to live out of your suitcase. Lastly, a HUGE disappointment is that they have a big beautiful outside area and at DUSK they kick you out! I understand not allowing swimming after dusk, but there are so many nice and comfortable spots outside and not being able to utilize that area was a huge disappointment! They do have nice areas inside as well, but when you are from the north or perhaps it's been a hot day and finally cooling off it is nice to sit outside. Our daughter moved to Wilmington two months ago and we have no plans on ever staying here again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay, it was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was that the pool, which looks amazing, was not open.
