The Walled Garden Cottage is located on a private estate close to the village of Terryglass, Co. Tipperary. It is very comfortably furnished, with all modern conveniences, sleeps 5, tennis courts, walks, biking, fabulous garden, outdoor dining.
The cottage opens into a 150 year old walled garden which is kept in pristine condition. Guests can use the outdoor dining facilities including the barbecue. Guests can also use our tavern for drinks ! A quaint space to enjoy before or after dinner. Bose music speakers are available for your use during your stay.
The cottage and it’s environment is perfect for horticulture lovers and those who appreciate a nature preserve (we do not use pesticides), or a romantic getaway.
Enjoy cosy evenings spent infront of the fire chating, reading, watching television or listening to music. Have breakfast on the terrace, feel free to visit the huge glasshouse, take a leisurely stroll around the garden. Take a bike ride after breakfast or enjoy coffee by the jetty.

Summary: This property is simply spectacular. The quaint cottage is cozy and completely supplied with every need you may have. The walled garden is beyond anything you could imagine - gorgeous and peaceful. We had fun playing tennis and walking through the woods to the lake. The local pub was excellent and there are plenty of places to explore close by. Don’t miss out on this one in a million home stay.

Summary: Simply amazing! Words and pictures can't begin to describe what an incredible property this is. Not only is the cottage wonderful, exquisitely decorated with all modern conveniences, but the walled garden and surrounding property are truly amazing. All of the staff are smart, gracious and kind. The location provides the most peaceful environment we have ever experiencee, with shopping and great pubs just ten minutes away. We can't wait to return.

Summary: We spent 8 fantastic days at the cottage after a two week tour of the country. We were ready for a rest before returning to real life and found this to be a tranquil, beautiful spot with lots of birdsong - and for our week - lots of sunshine. The hospitality and kindness of everyone associated with the cottage was amazing. We had beautiful flower and veggie arrangements from Gudrun, and great communications with everyone. It was hard to leave - and a bit emotional. We met very special people. We're going back.
