Positive: Cozy cabin

Negative: No (as in “zero”) closets or drawers for clothes in the entire cabin. That does not work well on a ski trip, where everyone brings a lot of gear. Other than that, the cabin was small but cozy. It is listed as having capacity for 5 adults. That is a stretch. 5 adults would have been crammed.

Summary: Ok, but you get better value elsewhere in Trysil.

Positive: Very nice and clean, fresh apartement with nice view to the mountains. Kitchen and some bedrooms downstairs and livingroom and some bedrooms upstairs. Bathrooms on both floors, so very convenient for two families trip.

Negative: Wanted to use the sauna after ski day, but it started the firealarm somehow and it was recommended not to use this to avoid alarm.

Summary: Kitchen was well equipped and with two fridges. Apartment looks very beautiful.

Positive: Location is great, if it's right season to be there. Hiking/Mtb track close by. Great place to walk dogs, close by. Adjustable temperature, can be as warm as you want.

Negative: You do not rent a house from the picture. Arrival instructions are unacceptable. Instead of sharing address for online maps, a drawing is given. It's 10km from reception to the house, drawing is not indicating in which direction to start, the drawing has north-south upside down. It's pitch dark in the required arrival time and house numbers not readable. Took us 1.5h to find. House is very small and dark. There is no closets in the house due to how little rooms are. Kitchen, bathroom are tiny, old and not in a charming way. In hindsight, the listing had left out those details from pictures. House is located far away from Trysil center. There is a local center with a shop and restaurants. Everything was closed, and I wish that was clear during booking. We haven't seen any person of the staff, reception was closed in checkin and checkout time. For such case the details in the digital form are insufficient. House is located on a paid toll road, 10eur/ride. Instructions to obtain weekly pass are not shared and not given upon my written request.
