Positive: Such a lovely little spot, in such a nice valley. Bed was comfortable and site was so thought out so well. Bathroom and shower area was absolutely gorgeous and the tent was so nice, bed was super comfy.

Negative: Would be nice to get somewhere to put a wall plug, mine couldn't use the usb ports but no biggie, just didn't go on my phone.

Summary: Gorgeous set up and such a nice location.

Positive: The tent itself is very lovely. Cute, with a basic outdoor kitchenette area (we didn't do anything except boil water for tea). Comfortable queen-sized bed with plenty of blankets if it's cool overnight. Composting toilet was clean and didn't smell at all. Enough solar power to charge a phone overnight. Easy 5-minute drive to the main street in Waihi town (narrow gravel road, but well-maintained) if you need groceries, takeaway meals, or coffee.

Negative: We were a little disappointed by the actual grounds. There isn't much to explore and not really anywhere to relax except the area directly outside your tent. I did walk up to the lookout for sunset but a disgruntled cow chased me out of there early (trail passes through paddock) so I was there and back within 15 minutes. It seemed very expensive just for a fancy tent without access to hiking trails, meadows, waterfronts, or other selling points.
