Lovely family home close to Tongariro River and town centre. Local walks all accessible by foot, Lake Taupo and Mountain within 35 minutes. Easy drive to Taupo for a day out. Your hosts are just through the gate and happy to help. Turangi has a great New World Supermarket, Greengrocers, bookshop, library and Chemist so no need to leave the area. Try our cafes. Home has great back yard, trees and birds. Garden setting. Enjoy house and surrounding area. Comfortable style and well equipped. Meals by arrangement. Shuttle for Tongariro Crossing can pick up from door. Ask about our special deals for skiers / trampers / fishing groups.

Summary: My family and i had a stop over on our way back to Wellington from Northland. Perfect, clean and magnificent gardens, highly recommended. Next time we might have to stay a few extra nights, it has everything you need even a highchair for the littlies

Summary: It was our first friendship trip with bach and we loved so much and agreed that we shall comeback regularly! House is nice, cozy and warm clean. The kitchen was fully stacked so that you didn't need to worry about cooking. Full of entertainment, Turangi is lovely place to stay longer.
