Very peaceful and tranquil location that is also very close to all leisure activities in the area.
The beaches, hot springs of Saturnia & Petriolio, Grosseto, Siena, Giglio island day trip. Also easily accessible to Rome and Florence. A very good base to go exploring or stay in the beautiful Maremma.
You will be staying in an historical Etruscan area. The Etruscan ruins in the neighbourhood.
Sunrise and sunsets that will make you stop, look and breathe. The colours of the Tuscan sky are kaleidoscopic and peaceful, merging with olive groves, vineyards, Tuscan style houses dotted over the landscape and the pretty outline of the distant hills; it is a scene for an Artist's canvas, essentially vivid and inspiring.
Surrounding gardens with BBQ area provides a gorgeous place to sit and dine alfresco.
There is one large double bedroom and a separate lounge area with a 2 single comfortable beds. One bed is raised. See photos.
The kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil you could need on your holiday. There is also a small toaster, pizza oven and microwave, toaster maker, coffee maker, teapot, kettle, a fridge and a freezer in the little house. If there is something that isn't there, all you need to do is ask.
A cot and highchair can be provided on request.
There is washing machine, television, hairdryer, all linen and towels are provided.

Walk 150m further up our street to the Maremmabona restuarant and the Pizzeria in the same location for delicious, local cuisine at a very reasonable price.
It's a great central location as there are so many attractions nearby. Roselle, the nearest village is only 1km away and it has everything you need. Cafes, restaurants, butcher, baker, atm, grocery shop.
It is only from 5km to the delightful city of Grosseto contained within medieval walls.
Easy access to Rome, Florence, Siena, the Argentario area, Talamone, Saturnia and Petriolio healing thermal pools, the popular Historical beach town of Castiglione della Pescaia, is a 25 min drive. Other nearby beaches include Marina di Grosseto and Principina both a 15 -20 min drive. The Regional Park of Maremma is also 10 mins away and has beautiful beaches as well as nature walks.
The famous historical wine village of Scansano is easily reached via a very pretty drive through the hills and could be a stop when you are on your way to Saturnia thermal pools.
Terre Mozza is also an historical point of interest with the ancient town under the sea.
Explore the nearby areas of Orbetello and the Argentario.

Summary: Beautiful, quiet location with a large, fenced garden, ideal for our two dogs. The apartment was clean and you sleep very well with the window open (all windows have fly screens). Grosseto ca be reached very quickly by car, as can the sea. Cate does a great job as a host and gives her guests an ideal place to relax. Keep it up, thanks Cate!

Summary: Amazing place in the countryside, but very close to Grosseto, only 5/7minutes. If you're looking for a villa surrounded by nature this is the place, and don't forget the fantastic garden where you can have a barbecue. I will be back!

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation ! The house has all you need and the garden with the swimming pool is really nice . You have a lot of beaches easily avalable with the car. Very relaxing place! The owner Cate is extremely helpful and very fast answering . We recommed it!

Summary: We have had one of the best summer holidays in Cate and Peter's house in Grosetto. The house is a perfect family getaway. Specially if you have sporty children and an active puppy. The apartment has every single thing needed to make your stay perfect. Our boys loved to come back home after a full day I the marvellous beaches nearby because they wanted to enjoy the volleyball matches that we had, football and basket and Los enjoy the pool. The barbecues at night surrounded by the stars in the cosy garden with twinkling lights and in such a peaceful location are so romantique that we hardly wanted to leave . The whole area is surrounded by nature, olive tress and so nice and friendly people that we wanted to stay there. Cate was an amazing host as she gave us all the information needed and we basically followed her information booklet to visit the most amazing places around. Thank you Cate. We are definitely going back!

Summary: We stayed with our 2 kids (aged 2 and 5) for a week in this lovely tuscan countrysite house. Our hosts Kate and Peter and their sons are a laidback family and did everything they could to make us feel at home. They were also very helpful with suggestions for daytrips in the area. The house is situated in a quiet mountainous area with a beautiful view all around. Our children had a lot of fun playing in the garden and swimming pool. It's a perfect place if you like hiking or biking in nature. You can find supermarkets, shops and restaurants in Roselle or Grosseto which is just a short drive away. We would recommend this property to anyone who likes to take a break away the busy daily city life.

Summary: With my 2 children we were guest in this lovely Tuscany House. The appartment was cool and very comfortable and clean.The swimming pool was heaven! Shops and Beach closeby. The family organised BBQ's in the typical Italian style together with live music. We could bring our Pet, this was great for my children. We felt welcome in every way! The house is located on a beautiful spot with a stunning view! I go back there with the children and would recommend it to everybody that appreciates Tuscany in it's purest form!
