Enjoy a relaxing stay in our two holiday cabins, hidden in a quiet street on an old plum orchard.
The cabins are designed to provide simple yet stylish accommodation with private decks perfect for soaking up the evening sun with a glass of wine. Cooking and bathroom areas are a few steps from your cabin in a separate building beside the shared eating and BBQ area.
Cabins
Set in an old plum orchard, our two cabins are nestled in an enclosed garden surrounded by pear, quince and pin oak trees. The space is separated from our main property by a large hedge to ensure privacy during your stay.
Both cabins contain queen beds and have their own private seating/deck space facing north west to soak up the afternoon sun.
They are perfect for two couples to enjoy a lovely weekender together.
Bathrooms
A separate building contains toilet and bathroom facilities including two toilets and shower.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen and lounge cabin is located beside your sleeping cabins and contains all you need to make a lovely meal and entertain yourself during the evening.
'Glamping' style kitchen. The kitchen area includes an induction hob, fridge, kettle, toaster plus a bbq in the courtyard.
Sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the dazzling night sky or cosy up inside the lounge cabin with a good book or a board game on those cooler evenings.

Summary: Excellent location and facilities. Charming, quiet spot to recharge the batteries. Anna was great to deal with and really helpful with suggestions for lunch (Alexia winery) and extra chairs for the star gazing (Under the Stars)

Summary: Really impressed with this accommodation. Right in the heart of winter, the cabins were cosy and warm. Kitchen, living and bathrooms are great. Can imagine this would be sooo nice in the summer with the barbecue and garden area. Would definitely book again

Summary: We had the most perfect weekend at the Plum Tree Hideaway. The rooms are fabulous with lovely linen, towels and fresh flowers. The living/kitchen areas are lovely and warm and beautifully decorated with everything needed. Hosts were excelllent communicators-would definitely return and also recommend to others.

Summary: The place is an easy walk to Greytown and cafes, but far enough from the main road to be quiet at nights. The two cabins are super comfortable. The bathroom is lovely. The living/kitchen is more a glamping set up, so fine in warm weather, perhaps not so much during the winter months. Friendly and laidback hosts.

Summary: Very comfortable and beautifully decorated place to stay, and the place is well kitted out with pretty much everything. Very scenic and well maintained grounds. Good communication from Property Manager and nice bonus snacks!

Summary: We throughly enjoyed our stay for our friends birthday. The property was perfect. Beautiful rooms in a beautiful garden amongst the fruit trees makng it into a lovely private peaceful sanctuary. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were lively with a great outdoor BBQ area to enjoy dinner and breakfast. Lovely hosts as well. We will be back.

Summary: We loved our stay here. The location is peaceful and charming, while the cabins and bathroom/kitchen unit are beautifully presented. A lot of thought and care has clearly gone into their construction, and we really felt in our little world, surrounded by fruit and poplar trees. Highly recommended!

Summary: This is such a nice place for a little getaway! The location is perfect, it's nice and quiet and feels like you're out in the countryside, but is still only a short walk to the main road to visit all the cute shops, cafes etc. There's a little kitchen and a BBQ so it's also super easy to self cater with stuff from the local supermarket. There's a lovely private lawn and outdoor lounge room, perfect for relaxing with a drink or watching the stars come out, and the cabins are set up for a good night's sleep with blackout curtains and comfy beds. Greytown is really cute anyway, but its also only 15 minutes to Martinborough to check out the wineries etc there too, so this is a great spot for a quiet weekend away.
